      Awww give it a try darling you can do it. Just use the same oil you use to fry chicken or fish to make the stew. That makes it easier for you not to use too much oil. Also, use plenty of onions.

    • @antoinettegeorge7267
      @antoinettegeorge7267  4 місяці тому

      @@Bonehead.Boehly Bruh,
      First of, we are lovely people- we are warm and always try to show warmth in our conversations, which can be loud and longggg…might be from our large African family backgrounds/communities etc. But that’s us and there’s no point changing who we are to fit in, coz guess what, the “other” people admire that about us, they want to do those things but that’s not how they were raised, many of them grew up in smaller families.
      As for the measurement of food/portion sizes of ingredients.
      If you’re being honest, you’ll agree with me that many if not all of us, don’t measure food items before we cook. Do you do that at home? I don’t do that when I cook so if I make a video and start saying “put one tablespoon of butter, 1/2 of thyme” when I don’t really do that myself, that to me is fakery. We are used to eyeballing ingredients, and that’s the expertise, that’s the uniqueness and that is what we’re teaching- authenticity.
      Now with regards Asian/European food content creators getting more views. Do you know the population of Asia? Well it is actually the largest continent. Just take China alone… Now have you checked the Media Landscape of countries in Asia? Bruh you can’t compare the number of people with internet access to that of Sierra Leone/even Africa as a continent. Only a few people in SL have internet access, and then those few people who manage to get mobile phones/computers have to now struggle to buy data when data in Europe is still cheaper (and in some places free).
      Editing, we are trying. For me personally, I know where my content quality was a year ago and where it is now, and I also know where I want it to be. I know the kind of camera, lighting, editing software and even KITCHEN that I want. The type of kitchen makes it halfway to a great quality video lol. Note: in order to stand out in media today, you have to be either extremely good or extremely bad. So if you have the best space/content you’ll go viral, and if you have the worst space/poor quality food/low hygiene setup, you’ll go viral (take for instance the Indian/Bangladeshi food videos that are trending on social media, just because people enjoy seeing weird things sometimes)
      But still, We are here breaking barriers with what we have bruh, do you know what it will cost if I want to buy my dream filming gadgets? A FORTUNE! The Leones to $/£/€ is crazy to the point that even if my salary here is great I can’t easily get things I want because as soon as I change my money to get gadgets the money disappears.
      In some parts of the world, some people get lots of views and so they can afford to do social media full time, with that, they are able to give all their time to make the contents even better. At this point in our /SL youtube journey leaving a job is not the way to go. So some of us find a way to combine our passion for content creation plus our jobs, so think about how “energized” I am filming a video after an 8 hours job. I can go on and on….
