The artist who built this is BRUCE HAMILTON. It is based on the work of KENNETH SNELSON with modifications by Hamilton. It is a tensegrity structure and there are many UA-cam videos that show how to build the basic six -trut tensegrity. The tower is a modular construction of the six-strut that is fractalized, SNELSON'S "Needle Tower" is the granddaddy of them all. I use it in BIOTENSEGRITY as the model for the architecture of organisms.
