The under the bed end scene is literally my favorite of the entire bridgerton series. My heart goes out to both of them and I love that after all that time only Charlotte could bring out “just George”❤. What a beautiful love story.
Legit same, they did a great job in building up that scene in the a seems-lees way. We knew exactly what what it meant to go under the bed, it was truly beautiful
I love how they focused on Edward and his wife Victoria at the end getting pregnant especially the part where Edward's says "Victoria thinks she's going to be a daughter" and Charlotte responding with "A strong queen is exactly what this country needs." So they do end up having a daughter - Queen Victoria (Victorian Age).
The last conversation between Charlotte and Danbury showed the transition in their relationship. Prior to that Danbury was mentoring the Queen. In that moment the Queen took her power and the relationship dynamic changed to mirrored what we have seen in the first two Bridgerton seasons.
I think it also solidified their friendship. Charlotte must’ve appreciated that in a land where she was brought for dubious purposes, Lady Danbury didn’t use Charlotte’s vulnerability to her own advantage
The ending broke me. It reminds me so much of my grandparents. They have been married for 65 years, and he's been suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's and has been declining for the past 7 years. He sometimes remembers things, especially about their younger years, and will say the sweetest things to my grandma. Other times he's like George and in his own world and doesn't know anything else but that. There are good days and bad days. But in the end, my grandpa always kisses her and even though he may not remember everything, he always says thank you.
My great grandmother had brain cancer. I was under the age of 5 and to this day have no idea what her voice sounded like, but my papa sat with her daily talking to her until the moment she left the Earth. He was present for both of them.
That baby is Georgie. He became George IV. His daughter and grandchild died at the beginning. That's why Queen Charlotte was upset. They lost 2 generations at once and the other children hadn't produced heirs. Prince George did his duty, his heir and her heir just died.
When he said he loves her from the moment…then choked on his words 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I had to pause the episode and just cry. So beautiful. Marriage and partnership is such a serious thing.
Definitely noticed that Lord Hastings was one of the people who came to talk to Lady Danbury. I heard another reviewer point out that this gives so much more weight to Simon's vow to not continue his father's line. Because this was a new thing. And for Simon to threaten to let that bloodline die out after their newfound position and prestige was maybe even more hurtful than we initially realized.
@@naahid577 LD didn't sacrifice a life with Adolphus! She simply didn't want to become a breeding machine and wanted her newfound independence to last forever!
If they cared so much about their bloodlines and new titles, you'd think they'd marry other black people, yet they all marry white people at the first opportunity (like today) and the titles return to the whites after a couple of generations. LOL.
My favorite scene was the last scene, but, honestly, that scene between Princess Augustus and Lady Danbury is a close second. I love that she basically asked LD to stop simpering and bring back the Bad Bish she was used to dealing with. I also loved that she shared how hard she'd had it as well. In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed how the whole series showed how each woman had to navigate society during a time when women had almost no rights. Those women had it hard and they were the rich ones! Can you imagine how difficult it was for poor women during this time (or any time)? For me, this Bridgerton series was the best by far because it tackled so many substantive issues.
The bed scene is absolutely my favorite scene in the whole Bridgerton season. Queen Charlotte and Farmer George ended up being my favorite couple in Bridgerton. The song that plays when they danced was "Nobody gets me" by SZA which was absolutely perfect for Charlotte and George 😭
Anyone who doesn't shed a tear during the last scene under the bed is dead inside! Just thinking about it makes me well up with emotion. 😭 The four actors who made that scene so heartbreakingly beautiful deserve every acting award out there. In real life King George actually outlived his beloved Queen Charlotte (he died at the age of 81) and that heir that her daughter in law was pregnant with grew up to become Queen Victoria (the late Queen Elizabeth II's great great great grandmother). So George and Charlotte's line still lives on today. Beautiful reaction guys...💖💖💖
The actor for older Brimsley has said in an interview that they did film a reunion scene with the older Reynolds but it had to be cut, unfortunately. So Reynolds is still alive in current day! He didn't die or anything which is good to know as a lot of people assumed that he may have died. They just see each other very VERY infrequently in the current day because the king and queen don't see each other very often at all. I mean their relationship was never going to flourish like the others we've seen on both shows as being gay was still a hangable offence back then... So if they are still having relations in current day it would be very very secretive like it was when they were younger. But it's also likely that they've drifted apart due to not being able to see each other very often.
OMG. Now I see a mirror scene to Charlotte and George under the bed at the end with a reunion of the older Brimsley and Reynolds. That would have been so good!!! And given us some closure. But I do understand that the last episode was long anyway. So it had to be cut. I just wish they would have extended versions of the episodes available for us to see that alternate storyline.
as if George and Charlotte’s love story wasn’t sad enough, Brimsley and Reynold’s had me in shambles too. Watching him reminiscing about the ball had me curled up and crying like a baby.
Lord Ledger's story is also tragic. He found a friend and maybe even a soulmate with Agatha. But he is a man of honor and must protect her reputation. And he must also protect his family. He doesn't love his wife, but will still stand by her. Because, at the time, there was really no honorable option. I think, when she discovers their past relationship, Violet recognizes this. My understanding is that one of the latter books in the series is about Violet and Edmund's love story. I actually might be more excited for that season than I am for season 3 of Bridgerton. :)
@@shippendales8543 YES!! I was thinking the same thing. And I am totally here for it. I hope the show how Lady Danbury finds Simon, takes him in and raises him as her own child. And maybe more glimpses of Charlotte and George and their children over the years. I'm maybe even more excited for that than the next season of Bridgerton.
How am I crying more rewatching these scenes than I did the first time around? Lol. Thank you both for the incredible reaction series! Sad its' over. Between Queen Charlotte and Succession, this has become my favorite reaction channel!
What an amazing season of Bridgerton! This is hands down my season by far. It was a beautiful story and a beautiful love story. Charlotte finally got her royal baby-the future legend Queen Victoria. I love the unspoken admission between Agatha and Violet. This season really shows the strength and character of Charlotte and Agatha and Violet. They were strong loyal proud women. I ugly cried at the end. It was a perfect ending. I really enjoyed watching this season with y’all. I can’t wait for the next season to drop!
@@Lola.185 Love doesn't come exclusively from a significant other tho. Yes, the show is a love story but my point stands that everyone is deserving of love despite where it comes from
A few things, Brimsley was with the queen at every birth so that adds a little more weight to their later conversation about her being a great mother. Only Brimsley can really give Queen Charlotte that type of perspective about herself.
and he was also SO worried, like brimsley definitely started to actually care for charlotte as a human being than just be 5 steps away from the queen he's supposed to adhere to.
They are stuck in time together that is why they see each other as their younger selves and that is why they will always be one and their love is forever unchanging from the first moments they met each other.. at least that's how i saw it😊💜
Another aspect I love is seeing just how much of a genius George was. I mean the astrology and the better farming techniques. He really did have a beautiful mind despite the mental health issues.
This season as a whole really showed how deeply one person can care for another. Their story has definitely been my favorite of all the bridgerton stories 😢
The different stories of this show are just awesome. Queen Charlotte and King George Brimsley and Reynolds Lord ledger and Lady Danbury All of these have Unconditional love , life of struggles , reality, heartbreaking endings. Queen Charlotte is a show worthy of love and fame ❤❤
To be honest... That scene under the bed at the end where younger George tells older Charlotte thank you... That was the only scene of the series that made me cry(and also the part where he was telling her he loved her and stammering with emotions and tears). I'm usually not an overly emotional movie watcher but... That part... And the melody beneath... Yeah... I couldn't stop crying even after it ended. That was cinematic history right there👏. Ps. I also realized while watching that it was the princess who thought Lady Danbury how to sharpen her wits, with those words she said to her when she was crying.
I’m torn between the first season and this season being my favorite. This was so good. So heartbreaking. The actors were amazing. Just beautiful in many different ways.
A few interesting things, when Arsema was asked what scenes were special to her, it was scenes between Princess Augusta and King George she said watching it on set made her believe they’re real mother and son, Corey said when asked playing George that they didn’t want to diagnose his illness thru the story yet he wants to creatively show George thru humanity and the pain he felt. It allows us to ponder what is sane and insane. I have to say this was the best Bridgerton series, the craft delivered by the young cast was supreme. This was about motherhood however they go about loving and protecting their children.
this is a clip from an article about brimsley.. The answer lies in deleted scene. "There was a scene that we didn't film because it was cut, where I was going to meet the older Reynolds," Hugh Sachs, who plays the older Brimsely, told Vulture. He said, "He was the love of his life, and for whatever reason, they could not stay together. So when they would pass each other in the passageway in the deleted scene, it wasn't a toxic moment. Cries at the end ❤ for anyone who has loved, mental health, age, and just life can impact any relationship. But we love anyway. Love stays and cares. When George said, "our line," My heart soared because Charlotte & George built their family together.
This show made it even more heartbreaking when you remember in the main seasons George had that moment of lucidity, and then watching him lose himself again.
I just can't help but imagine how king George would have turned out if he hadn't heard that fight and hadn't gone back to that terrible doctor. I feel like that fight broke him, and then the torture worsened it as he didnt even fight it like he did the first time, and if it hadn't happened, maybe he would have been strong enough to get out of the carriage for the speech
The funky music over the dance really through me off😂😂 just because the song that played 'Nobody Gets Me ' by SZA really made me emotional in that scene😢💜
It’s funny how the monarchy always put so much pressure to have sons but all of Britain’s post revered and famous monarchs were women: Elizabeth I, Victoria (the baby that died he Queens son finally delivers), and our recent Queen, Elizabeth II. So ironic really 😂
You've provided me with such satisfaction, your reactions are the BEST. I looked forwarded each day to your reactions, thank you. This series brought everything, love and all its glory and tragedy. The love of mothers, partners, friends, even adversaries. The storyline, Charlotte and George, Princess Augusta and Lady Danbury, Brimsley and Reynolds, and all the other combinations. The story was rich and textured. This last episode, had me in tears for awhile, from the beginning to that ending. Thank you for your absolute amazing reactions, I am a fan!
Loved your reaction! After watching this series and going back to watch small clips of Queen Charlotte interact with King George in seasons 1 & 2 hits differently now that we all know their story.
Not the allergies, Sir. hahaaha. I am so glad I've discovered your channel. Looking forward to following you. Love the chemistry too. Thanks and go on and cry if you need to. Allergies? hahhaahaha. Sir.

It ended up being my favorite Bridgerton storyline/couple. The I love you scene got me teary but the final scene broke me.
I'm so so sad that it's the end of your reactions on this ! I had so much fun watching you react to this amazing serie and know your thoughts. It was a fun time ! 😍
Wonderful reactions 💐 and as far as royal marriages theirs was unusual in that they were not only in love but neither had lovers. They were devoted to each other. And yes Im sure that so called doctor did do a lot of damage. Treatments for mental illness were basically torture for too long.
I loved this season for different reasons than the other two. I agree with your assessment of her love for him. We don't see that in S1 & 2 of the original series, because all we see is the, "Is he dead yet?" Now we understand her motivation. I love all of the actors, but especially George's younger self. He portayed that torment, pain and vulnerability so well. I'm interested to see how the revelations in this series will play out in S3 of Bridgerton: the knowledge that Violet has about Lady Danbury and her father; the possible change in the Queen now that there will be an heir.
It’s funny because many reactors theory is George dies in the end and they in the beginning ‘I’m not ready for it I’m about to cry” well here he is alive and well - & WE ALL STILL CRY😭😭😭🤣
I know it's unlikely they'll do a second season of 'Queen Charlotte', but I still wonder if they do, if we'll meet a young Portia aka Lady Featherington - because I want to know if her cut-throat survival instincts was something she always had or something she had to learn after she realised her marriage wasn't really going anywhere, and if she looked forward to her wedding day with excitement or if when it arrived she'd met enough of the Baron Featherington to approach her wedding day with a 'let's just get this over with' attitude - and I also want to see Lady Danbury meet Sarah - aka Simon's mother - just before she became the Duchess of Hastings.
My guess is that Lady Danbury's spin-off story will be next, since they've spent the most time on her back-story arc. Lady Danbury and Simon's mother were best friends so we'll probably get to see her horrible marriage to Lord Hastings and learn more about the Smythe-Smiths. We'll probably see Portia Featherington in Violet [Ledger] Bridgerton's spin-off since they are the same age--all the Bridgerton mothers would have debuted in the same season: Lady Violet Bridgerton, Lady Portia Featherington, Lady Mary Sheffeild-Sharma and Lady Cowper.
I appreciate watching the reviews! Everyone that knows me, knows how much I love Bridgerton! So the only issue I had was the lack of knowledge on a lot of the characters which would have helped with fully reviewing the show without questions. Also, the Duke’s dad there. He was mentioned in 1 of the other episodes as the Duke of Hastings. I’m glad they mentioned him bc in season 1, he mentioned how they got their titles bc the king loved 1 of us. So I appreciate the back story so much 😫😊
He seem to suffer from social anxiety and borderline bipolar disorder. If he was abused by his late grandfather, lost his dad at and early age, always had to be perfect with mother who doesn't do emotions because she's trying to protect her position and his he really had no soft place to land and breathe except with Queen Charlotte. This King George seems to have so many ideas that are to futuristic for the parliament who want to stay in control and keep the people in their place and divided. We needed 20 episodes to unpack the debts of these amazing characters. The emotions that this series brought out, the love between husband and wife and friendship, then we covered abuse, loneliness, Stockholm syndrome 😂, enablers, neglect, mental health, and how far we have come and need to go when dealing with and understanding the mind. I absolutely enjoyed this series my only complaint was I wish it was longer and I didn't need the sex scene with Lady Danbury late husband. 😂😂
I have really enjoyed watching your reaction to this series. Your discussions after the reactions are really top notch. Look forward to watching more of your reactions in the future!
the actress that plays gorgie's mom also play king Henry mom and grandmother in the white princess & the Spanish princess my favorite character from that show is Nina
The actor who plays older Brimsley said there was a deleted scene where he and the older Reynolds pass by each other and don't say a word. It didn't work out between them. Reynolds didn't die, but given the fact that they could only be together when Charlotte/George were together meant they didn't see each other much. Their relationship was directly tied to Charlotte/George, a sad circumstance of servants of their station. And being gay at that time was a death sentence by hanging. They probably felt it wasn't worth the risk. Love the shout-out to Edward's child who would go on to be ... Queen Victoria, a strong Queen indeed.
I have loved seeing the reactions and sad they have come to an end.Thank you so much for reading my comment out in the last video!! I really hope you both react to Bridgerton season 3 together when it comes out as I would love to see it.
Since they take so much creative license with fashion, corsets, music, and whether women drink alcohol during pregnancy, I decided to give the mourning period leeway also. (I didn't want to try to figure out the timeline between that and Charlotte's pregnancy.)
The fact i was so not interested in this season and didn’t watched it for months and only watched it cause i was bored! Ughhh! Under the bed scene broke me😭😭😭

I feel like that fight broke him, and then the torture worsened it as he didnt even fight it like he did the first time, and if it hadn't happened, maybe he would have been strong enough to get out of the carriage for the speech
34:25 I think the baby soon to be born they're talking about is Queen Victoria.
this serie has those powerful lines like GOT had. no wasted lines all is important and i really enjoy that
The funky music over the dance really through me off😂😂 just because the song that played 'Nobody Gets Me ' by SZA really made me emotional in that scene😢💜
oh god that one!! i BAWLED after realizing it was nobody gets me 😭😭 that song and the emotional scene that preceded it was just perfect 😢
Lord bute be on they head lol 10:34 he played that role! 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I really enjoy watching the show with you guys!
Loved your reaction! After watching this series and going back to watch small clips of Queen Charlotte interact with King George in seasons 1 & 2 hits differently now that we all know their story.
Many of us had allergies at the end of that 😢🥹🥹🥹
Not the allergies, Sir. hahaaha. I am so glad I've discovered your channel. Looking forward to following you. Love the chemistry too. Thanks and go on and cry if you need to. Allergies? hahhaahaha. Sir.
In the book, Charlotte and George actually see Brimsley and Reynolds dancing and they say that they look happy
The grandchild Charlotte is now expecting is Queen Victoria so "strong queen" is right on the money.
What an Amazing Ride! I Binged the series and kept stalking your channel to see when you were uploading your reactions lol!
I too thought of Highlander when they mentioned "the quickening"😅
This Finale was one for the books. Kudos to the writers, production team and Actor's. I wish this wasn't a limited series 😩
Keep up the Great work!🙏🏾👏🏾
I have really enjoyed the reactions from you guys. You both balance fun commentary with thoughtful insights. I almost didn’t watch this show, but I’m so glad I gave it a chance. It ended up being my favorite Bridgerton storyline/couple. The I love you scene got me teary but the final scene broke me.
I'm so so sad that it's the end of your reactions on this ! I had so much fun watching you react to this amazing serie and know your thoughts. It was a fun time ! 😍
Thank you for joining us in the journey 😊
@@snootyvegans everytime you sighed & lowered your head made me sad at the scenes all over again
Y'all are stronger than I... I sobbed at the ending...so beautiful.
I absolutely loved you guys reactions to the series. The last scene under the bed was so moving. I cried and loved it.❤😊
I’m really going to miss your reactions to the series. Truly enjoyed it.
It’s funny because many reactors theory is George dies in the end and they in the beginning ‘I’m not ready for it I’m about to cry” well here he is alive and well - & WE ALL STILL CRY😭😭😭🤣
They deserve a Grammy for that last scene alone. Truly piece of ART.
I'm not crying, you're crying 😭
Like a baby!!!@@Syntell
I have watched the i love you scene so many times and it still makes me sob everytime
Had so much fun watching with you two! I still can’t watch this episode without crying but what a beautiful, beautiful love story
I love when Black women are trying not to cry and we just go “mmm mmm mmm!” This episode draggggged me.
lmao i was SOBBING nothing was holding me
the actress that plays gorgie's mom also play king Henry mom and grandmother in the white princess & the Spanish princess my favorite character from that show is Nina
This episode is where you see that Queen Charlotte isn't just a "girl boss", Mary Sue character. She is an actual, powerful, feminine woman.
That's the back story to Lady Dunbury and Lord Hastings
Every minute of this series was brilliant, I thoroughly watching it again and I loved your reactions as always!
Even seeing clips I was in tears. Thank you for sharing your reactions with us.
I have loved seeing the reactions and sad they have come to an end.Thank you so much for reading my comment out in the last video!!
I really hope you both react to Bridgerton season 3 together when it comes out as I would love to see it.
I really apppreciate Reynolds standing up to Charlotte.
There are so many moments that make me teary eyed. Love your commentary
I've heard that Shonda Rhimes has confirmed that Reynolds is alive. I don't know where he is or what he's doing but perhaps we will see him again.
Since they take so much creative license with fashion, corsets, music, and whether women drink alcohol during pregnancy, I decided to give the mourning period leeway also. (I didn't want to try to figure out the timeline between that and Charlotte's pregnancy.)
I came for queen charlotte and I stayed fur you guys lol. Subscribed!!
Very good reaction to the whole series. You brought out depth that was not easily obvious
The fact i was so not interested in this season and didn’t watched it for months and only watched it cause i was bored! Ughhh! Under the bed scene broke me😭😭😭
Your review is excellent!!!!! I respect it!!! Bravo 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I loved your Queen Charlotte reactions/reviews! Thank you for them!
I’m pressing charges on Shonda a**!! That last 10 mins was criminal and I had to pick myself up off the floor. the set designs, 🗣️what budget?? And that soundtrack🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 we are not worthy
I cried three times throughout the episode,i cannot believe it's over😭😭😭
