Big shoutout to them, this was a lot of to record :)
After recording this video I noticed that there were a lot of high peaks in the audio, making it sound a little distorted at some points throughout the video. I think I was sitting too close to my mic and thus it messed up the recording just a little bit. After recording the script for about an hour I really didn't feel like re-recording it, so I just decided to go with it. Hope it isn't too bad.
Rescue team 2, was most likely named that, because you are fighting other rescue teams, at the makuhita dojo
The Alert Specs sound like your typical example of Pointless Superpowers.

Hey, I can explain the slowdown. So in Red Rescue Team especially, each move has to calculate all moves made by all Pokémon on the floor. The game can slow down easily as well when playing dungeons anyway. Seeing as much of the footage of the dungeons has a bunch of enemies, it's likely just a lot of enemies out of your view. You can see this in the game's proper content too, as you can actually detect when new enemies appear as the turn they spawn has a split second of slowdown. Another thing that can help show it is using B to go through a corridor while being followed by several enemies and/or with a monster house active.
In some game design, moves are designed as items, even if they aren't used as one. What I suspect is that the Item-Throw Orb is activated via the menu, followed by the Move. But without the inventory item being selected, has nothing to throw, as the Orb/Move has no selected item.
I love this video! Thank you so much for watching and bringing some attention to this wonderful game.
Nice video. Didnt even noticed it was over half an hour long.
Yknow I just thought about it, and what if they considered having more than one held item? It would explain the Alert Specs.
Hope u continue making these unused content videos, they're really informative and entertaining
As a hardcore mystery dungeon fan this is so interesting to watch XD thanks for the video!
i love this, you got my respect as a mystery dungeon fan. keep it up!!
The Event Zukkoke track sounds so much like a track from a Kirby game.
I can see why Alert Specs was cut, that seems like such an overpowered item.
Wow! When i see the effort put into this video i'm impressed man! You should have more subscribers :) Take care! Greatness from Poland! ;)
very late, but the 2 mailboxes are different in the debug room.
My guess is that Alert Specs might have been a testing item. There are some abilities that stop items from being knocked off, so having that as a hold item might have been handy.
Love it, I watched the whole vid without realizing it
You know I think that move famish would come in handy in those dreaded monster houses.
had no clue pmd had so many little secrets!! ty for finding and showcasing all this stuff, it’s awesome to see what my favorite game has hidden!
