Unreal. I mean that in the best way possible, of course! Absolutely beautiful job well done
What a great gift!
Awesome transformation. Very well done and it is gorgeous now. 💖💖💖
Thank you!
Awesome hope dad loved it
This project turned out beautifully! I found your channel because I have an antique refrigerator built into the wall of my home. I would like to repurpose it for shelving. Thank you so much for the ideas. At least I know where to start now.✨ New subscriber here!✋🏾
Love the color 😊
Welcome back! This Melange color is beautiful. The color you painted the hardware complements it beautifully.
Thanks Adriana! ❤️
Lovely piece. Nice work. I agree it needs to be elevated.
Thank you! It’s actually going to be sitting up on a counter otherwise I totally would’ve had added legs.
Came out really nice really like the color. Nice job!
Thank you!
Love the color

Thank you so much!
looks great. Personally, I would have added feet. But this looks great!
Thank you!
Very nice restoration
Thank you so much!
Came out beautifully! Curious if you considered putting legs on it? It would elevate the design (literally and figuratively!) 😉
Haha I did originally plan on it but I found out it’s actually going to be sitting up on a counter so it wouldn’t need the legs.
It looks fabulous. Great idea using the cedar tongue and groove for the shelf!
Thank you!
Great work
Love the color! You did a great job on this piece.
This makeover is lovely!
Thank you!
Hi Amber, you make it look so easy, lol....this is gorgeous, I'm sure your dad loves it. Lots of repairs but worth it in the end, love the color you used....Take care....
Thank you!
💜
Thank you!
Beautiful and practical! Why didn't you use round wooden sticks to close the holes on the sides? Thanks for sharing
Thank you! I wanted to leave them to keep some character and history of the piece.
💕🌻
❤️❤️❤️
great video...only complaint dont see more videos...but I get it...you gotta have a job to support your creativity habit. :)💗💗
Thank you!
Just got over here due to flipping teachers mention of you. Checking out your stuff. I thought I’d give constructive criticism (not that you asked but..😊) For potential subscribers it would be helpful if your thumbnails were before and afters or the after so we can quickly get your vibe. Salvaged by K Scott does a good job of that so get a good idea of what you’ll be seeing before watching. Hope you don’t mind me posting that lol 😊 gonna go see what you’ve got going on…
Your videos are so addicting to watch. Amazing restorations. Just subscribed to your channel. What's the most money you recommend someone spend on a piece of furniture to restore and see some profit ? Also, how do decide what colors you will use on the restorations. Are there any modern furniture magazines you collect to get color pattern ideas ?
Thank you so much! So I’ve never spent over $40 for a piece. It really depends on your location. I’m in Tacoma, WA and I’m fortunate enough that I don’t have to source for pieces too often. Family and friends are constantly passing pieces on to me and I’ll also get messages on listings that I have posted for sale from people in my area saying that they want to donate things to me. MCM pieces tend to be money makers in my location so if I was going to go over my $40 limit it would be on a piece that I know that I would make a decent return on. I also use google lenses to try to find and research pieces prior to buying them. Now if it’s something very specific that I’m looking for to redo and keep for myself I’ll definitely pay up for something like that. As far as colors go I try to stick true to the style of the piece to compliment it. For mid century pieces if I’m not able to fully restore them I like to go for more warm retro earth colors like browns, rust, orange, mustards. I’m not a fan of just stark white or gray so if I do a neutral I like it to be something that has some color but still considered neutral. I will have an “idea” of what I think I what to do with a piece but in the end I won’t force it to work. I’ll let the piece decide if it wants to cooperate with my vision or if I need to pivot to do it justice. Pinterest is my main source of inspiration. I’ll search for an full room design and grab inspo for color and style from there.
@@UniqueUpcycles Thank you for the tips/advice. I'll definitely incorporate those ideas into my newly discovered hobby. 🙂
😢 painful to watch. Gorilla glue, spray painted hardware, paint instead of stain on that beautiful wood!
Those are very valuable ($2000) if restored to original function and look.
Not worth even close to $2000. You’re out of your mind with that number. There is nothing wrong with using gorilla wood glue on wood. Not sure what your issue is with that one. Clearly you didn’t pay attention to all the chucks of wood that was missing from damage and that wood was not beautiful but thanks for watching anyways.
Looks great. Beautiful color. Maybe lose the profanity, though. Not very professional in a video.
Why’d you quit UA-cam? I sure wish you’d come back!
Life’s been busy! I miss doing furniture. I’m hoping to be able to start again soon! ❤️
@@UniqueUpcycles Thanks for responding! Hope you’re back soon!
