Omg, you are the best, thank you so much this really helps!!!! Followed you since day 1! My rabbit has never been happier
I was wondering if you, could help me with one thing, my rabbit really doesn't like all types of treats, she doesn't eat apples or banana, I only give her, her pellets, although I do have these treat brand that she loves, but I was wondering if you think something is wrong with my rabbit, be cause she doesn't eat, banana or apples?
You actually help me with choosing the best hay so thank you for this and can't wait for the 15%
@@keharabolley hi! while i am not nearly as knowledgeable on bun care as Morgan, i can relate to this! my bun doesn’t really care for apples, strawberries, or blueberries. i give him the oxbow veggie treats or cranberry treats and he LOVES them. i’ll also give a timothy carrot lollipop once in a while and he goes crazy for them. i’ve discovered he’s not a huge fan of fruits but there are plenty of healthy natural treats out there that your bun may like more than fruit. hope that helped a little!:)
@@allisoncalnan5677 omg thank you so much for this, I should definitely try the Timothy lollipop, thank you❤️🙏
It shocks and saddens me to see so many bun owners think that hay is optional.. Very, very disturbing. I mean, even a few minutes of research will clarify that which is a whole other level of disturbing, how little people research.
My parents are negligent about it, what can I do??? 😣
@@flavusmint4749 I'd get the bunny to a place where it would receive the basic needs of life, which is sadly not in the care of your parents..
More need to see this video.
Every time I adopt in my area, nearly every breeder or farmer selling will tell me "rabbits don't need hay." I'm absolutely sick of the misinformation! To someone who knows nothing, like my mom who doesn't like to listen to me when I've done research, that's literally going to destroy the quality of life of the pet. I always make sure my bunny has hay.
My bunny of 8 years passed away a week ago, I stumbled across your channel as I was doing research on getting new bunnies. Today I picked up my two 10 week old holland lop bunnies and I realized how much work raising two of them is going to be, especially since it’s been 8 years since I had a young bunny (let alone two). I just wanna say your videos have been really helpful so far, I already knew a decent amount, but I really wanna make sure I take care of my new babies the best I can, so thank you sm for freely giving out all this information. 💗
I’m getting two bunnies as well!! Any tips with raising two at a time? I’ve also haven’t had a baby bun in forever!!!
I laughed so much when Morgan said "cinnabun" in a pretty disappointed way at 4:37
LOL, when you edited the hay down Cinnabun's stomach then added the poop emojis🤣🤣
It’s true little things 😂
This was so useful, thank you so much!! Will be getting my bunnies in 4 weeks and they'll be 9 weeks old, I've got the Timothy hay first and second cut ready but this made me think about the other types too. Thank you! X
I’m so glad!!
In the UK, it is always herb with an audible 'h'. Sounds funny to us to hear 'erb'.
This video was everything I needed! I am allergic to Timothy hay also and thought it was going to make or break keeping my bunny. Thank you for the good info!! 💜
I have watched this video so many times, and each time I get something out of it! Love this video! 😍😍
I use a hay blend of third and first cut of Timothy my buns love it they also get oat and meadow every now and then a orchard when ever I can get it
Thank you so much! All of your videos are very helpful. And I'm not thinking about getting a new bunny and all your videos help so much. Keep being a passionate bun mom!😊
Hay is not just for.horses got me rolling on the floor😂😂
Yes, this is super useful! My bun is turning 6 months old in a couple of days and the past few months I've been mixing his alfafa hay with orchard grass. Glad to know that this is actually good for his transition to stop alfafa hay completely. Amazing video! Thank you!
i've been searching the internet for ways to make my bunny eat hay cause she's not into it at all and wasted a big bag of timothy hay. thank you so much for making this video, now i know what type of hay to try to encourage her to eat!!
I'm a new bun mom and I love your content. I have a lion head rabbit named Mochi, and your videos have taught me so much ❤️
You see this is where it’s so confusing sometimes because different channels say similar and completely different things about hay.
In SA we don’t have a large selection of Timothy Hay, it’s so rare here. But we have lots of Oat Hay. I feed my rabbit Libby both Oat and Timothy yet she HATES Timothy Hay and she will devour Oat Hay. Not sure if that’s a good thing in the long run. Her poop seems normal when eating Oat Hay, it produces a golden colour. Helpful video thanks!
Your editing skills is SOOOOOOO smooth and good
I really appreciate that. Thank you!
It really isn't good and is trash
Your channel is so entertaining and rich in information on bunnies. Great video editing too.
I am not even a bunny parent, but I adore bunnies and do know someone close who has a pair of bunnies, one of which was found abandoned with a limp and had bad fur condition; she is well and happy now after vet visits and receiving love and proper care.
It really is very sad to know of bunny abandonment cases which does happen every now and then here in Singapore.
So exited and can't wait for the next cinnabun Sundays and cinnabun surprise
Phew, Thankyou so much for this video! I was going to START switching my buns diet at 6 months old, so Thankyou so much!
Every week I get so excited to watch your new videos and I hate waiting but it's all worth it at the end
Omg yay! I just got a bunny YESTERDAY! She is a mini lop and exactly 8 weeks and 1 day old! I’m not sure if she isn’t eating because she is nervous or something else.. and she does have a ton of hay but we are switching her hay and pellets so their both mixed the new and old pellets/hay, please help me out! Thanks your channel helped me get a rabbit btw c:
Congrats
@@lilliandean3980 ty!
I think your bunny is just getting used to you and being in a new place!
Congrats!!!!
awww i have a mini lop ❤️congrats with ur new bun
SUPER HELPFUL FOR MY BUN
Thanks for this week's video! We started the "adding Timothy hay" journey this week, and Fluffy seems so really like the Oxbow blend you guys recommended! I say Herb with the h. Love u guys!
this is so interesting because the pyramid is different in sooo many countries. for us (in germany/austria) 80% is fresh hay aka grass/field grass. While hay should always be available, rabbits that have grass (not backyard grass but actual stuff from a good field or mountain field where you would make hay from) often go for the fresh stuff. :)) I personally feed that way and it helped with urinary issues because of the calcium in the hay.
I personally feed first and second cut, as I have made hay myself before (for horses) I prefer first cut because it's not so sweet :) I buy massive hay balls from a local farmer and they don't make third cut hay here but interesting to know that it is available in some areas 😍
You have the best bunny care channel on UA-cam! Love the editing!
Oo thank for this video I really needed it
This channel is GOLD! I wish we have some youtubers like this in my country. Wish you to grow this channel super fast! Greetings from Poland 🥰
i have been watching your videos before i brought my bunny home, and i have to say that your videos really prepared me for bringing a bunny home! thank you for sharing all these knowledge in beautifully edited videos!!!
I’m so so glad!!!
Thank you so much. I recently adopted a bunny, and all your tips are helping so much. Thank you
This is the video im looking for thanks cinnabun mom ❤
Oh my go- I just saw how chubby and grumpy cb look in the thumbnail 🥺🐰🥰💗
Your editing is amazing!! I always enjoy watching your videos!
Thanks so much, I love the cinnabun Sundays videos because they're so helpful. Also I'm from England so I say the 'h' in herb lol
My bunny would not eat Timothy hay for the life of her. I ordered a bag of orchard hay and she ate it in probably three days. I would definitely recommend orchard hay. Also have a four month old rabbit and she has about a half-and-half with Timothy and alfalfa
So if I get bunnies (will find out today) I will take notes and make like a booklet/idk a grimoare or something like that where I can read how to take care of them. I think it would be a great way to study and remember what I have already learned! Love your videos, Cinnabun is an Idol.
We can vouch for the Herbal Hay 100% Anything with yummy flowers will have your rabbit indulging like a king/queen!🐰🌸
I can’t believe this was posted 38MINS AGOO!!!! And I’ve watch all your vids I love you!
I'd love to see a bit more on buying bales and wild foraging. It's incredibly economical and although it may vary from region to region, some things are way easier to get and afford than store bought
Getting my rabbit today thank you for uploading I always need a quick refresher
Omg I am also getting my bunny today!!!!
Congrats!!

I absolutely love this video. Easy to take in and perfectly paced!🐰
You always make me happy when you post
I loved this video!! My lop doesn’t seem to eat much hay and I’ve got Timothy hay ( which I’m highly allergic to) 1st and 2nd cuts, I’ve tried the bags in the store too, also ordered orchid grass and she doesn’t like it at all?? Never realized how much attitude a 3lb adorable bunny could have? Lol
I love bunnies!!!
❤
I think bunny should be feeding all different sorts for grass and hay. If they prefer certain hay I tend to give them less preferred hay for few days as that’s the only way to train them not become a picky eater. When they are hungry they will eat, spoil them with pellets and tasty hay will do more damage than love them
This was super helpful! Love all your videos and can't wait for the rest of this series!
This video was so helpful and informative, you gave all the great info!. Mamy thanks
She's so cute 🥺
Very good video, momma-bun! My boy was actually never put on alfalfa hay when I received him. He had alfalfa heavy pellets and this was recommended by my vet. He was already on timothy 1st cut since he was very tiny. I think that is a better way of getting them into grass hay (faster than transitioning from one to another)... but that's my opinion. Orchard grass also has two crops, 1st and 2nd (Course and fine). One other point is to watch out for hays with treats within it (not to blast them, but Kaytee brand often does this). This may be fun for foraging, but the hay quality isn't that great and there are SO many treats within it that it can really upset their digestive system. If possible, buy your hay from local farms as it's WAY cheaper and you get waaaay more for your buck. My issue though is in Ohio, the farmers market for Timothy hay is SO "clique-y" that they don't like doing private dealings like that. Orchard grass is the main deal around here... My bunny does not like orchard and will only go for timothy, so I usually always have to order my hay from elsewhere.
I am just obsessed with your videos I don't even see the tumnail or title just clicked straight away
Thank you so much! I am getting a bunny tomorrow, and this really helps!!
Thank you so much for all these videos! ❤ 🐰
Nice clear breakdown for everyone, Morgan 👍🏼
7:42 Baby Rabbits. 😆
I’m
So happy because my mother Teh brought
Hiii Morgan and cinnabun. Can u pls do a video about how to convince your parents to let your rabbits live in your house?
Thanks for making these videos. I plan on getting a rabbit one day!!🙏
Thank you so much!! My bunny Yuki is 4 months atm. I'm still using alfalfa hay but I'm mixing in botanical hay. The lavender smells amazing. I was having issues on which Timothy hay cutting to get but your video helped me alot! Got the second cutting from SPS. Hoping my bunny isn't super picky on transitioning
I've understood that angora rabbits should eat a little bit more protein than other bunnies because of how much fur they grow. I've also uderstood that a good way to do it is to give them just a little bit more pellets than to other bunnies. Yes, I have my first bunnies and they're angora. I've had them for three weeks which makes them 16 weeks old.
istg my bunnies know your voice ahaha! i’m trying to convince my family to get the leviot pet air purifier for christmas this year, and the box cinnabun has for her litter box
YESSSS
This video is so cute ❤️😍
Early! I just got a bunny and it really helped!
Or, like in Sweden we just buy hay from the farmer and it works great. 😋🌸🐰. Brilliant video tho 👍 😋🌸🐰 Love it.
That's the exact same hey I feed my bunny Oxbow Timothy Hay nothing but the best I like the cube hey
I don't why my family members always say that grass is not important pellets are more important.
Mine are negligent about it, too 😣
Could u pls do a “reacting to bun habitats” video?
Btw, I love you and cinnabuns videos!!
While I was watching this my rabbit jumped on top of his hay and pooped on it 🤦🏻♀️😂
WAW IT HELP ME ALOT
Very helpful video! I am going to try adding some botanical hay. My bunny is obsessed with alfalfa hay, and shows no interest in orchard grass or timothy hay, but I need to wean her off the alfalfa soon.
WE LOVE BUNNYS 🦁
❤❤❤
Thank you for making the info research hassel less of a struggle. My son wants a bunny so I'm researching to see if it's gonna be a good option for us
Hi, Morgan! My bunny is a 2 yr old netherland dwarf, right now she is eating unlimited hay but her teeth is SUPER outgrown, I go to the vet 1x every 2 weeks to get it cut. I'm not sure what cut of hay I buy but would it be okay if I start feeding her 1st cut timothy hay from now one?
My Rabbits eat oaten hay!it works amazing
I'm sorry but I have been feeding my rabbits Timothy and meadow hay mixed about last week I found alfalfa hay but don't worry there about 15 or 16 weeks and they are now eating perfectly and they vets said that everything we do is really good
Congrats on 22k subscribers!!!!
Thank you SOOO much bunmom this is literally the one part(Hay) that I couldn't find a 'straight' answer to they kept saying "when ur Bunny is getting older" I was like... "What does that mean" older is older teenager, or adult. I know I sound silly/dumb😅🤦♀️ I don't have a bun yet but just doing research (including like a million and 1 bun names, for male and female🤭🤭😮🤔💗) it's literally gonna be like 4+yrs until I get one, I'm literally gonna start a "bun fund"😅 no joke I'm working now but have other obligations now so... Bun fund it is. Anyways... What I'm saying is thank you SOOO much for these videos☺️☺️💗
I needed this video! Ty!
This is a bit random, but my lil bunny (button) is on alfalfa hay and (not unlimited) pellets, but her poop is very dark! I don’t know what to do!!! 😰😰😰
Love the background
"the average person doesnt often go out to buy hay"
Me, who used to have a horse: 👁️👄👁️
Also first and second cutting is the gold standard for horses. We did second cutting alfalfa, because my growing boy needed the energy
I really liked your video. Can you do a video on the best brands of hay?
I really need this!!
I say Herbal like Eerbal the H is silent and I love your buns name she's named after my favorite Spice
The editing in this video is great! Lol
Hi you are bunny guru! Thank you for being.
In the UK its always Herbal with a loud H.
Xxxxxxxxx
I was pet sitting for a family at one point and the straw they had been using for their rabbit's bedding ran out. I went out and got some Timothy Hay for it and let me tell you that rabbit was THRILLED. It wasn't till then that he actually started to like me.
Thanks I needed this!!!
If I had to buy a rabbit hutch, would you have one to recommend? One that is spacious, well protected from rain, and cold, and that is open? Would it be better to have one made, or to buy a hutch like for chickens?
I totally understand if this is not possible in your living situation, but I would suggest perhaps setting up a spacious x-pen inside, opposed to buying a butch to keep your rabbit outside due to all the different risks.
I don’t recommend a hutch at all, actually! Check out my “what you need when you bring home a rabbit” video - I give suggestions and links there :)
@@gracec4925 yeah, it isn't in my living situation! but when I can move out, she'll live inside with my sister and I!
@@pastelpets that's great to hear! hopefully, you can find a great alternative safe housing situation for her now!
I have 2 bunny’s who have to be changed to eating lettuce and salads soon, so i was wondering if you could make a video about that?
Timoty hey is good/tasty 😍🐇🙌
....
My rabbit eat timoty hey, store. And in summer grass :p /and (meadow or timoty hey)
Where did you the house that cinnabun litter box is in?? I love the info in your videos!! Thank you
Your funny good info
I bought mixed grass hay from feed store, square bell. I wanted to know if that's safe for her to eat. It looks very clean and healthy. Very dry. It look good. I don't want anything to happen to her.
I have a question is there a treat for baby bunnies such as under 3 months?
Great Video as always 😍
I love your channel!
I think you should do a video on how to make your own healthy treats. Maybe like a few different ones and what makes them better then other sugar filled treats
Hey Morgan, I’ve had my bunny for around three years and he has had the same bag of hay since I got him. The bag was meant for two bunnies but I can’t help but feel that something is wrong. Could you let me know how much hay I need to give him a day, or any other suggestions that you have to get him to eat more?
Edit: I should clarify that the hay was included when I got him (from a breeder) and it was in a garbage bag
Ik I’m not Morgan but what size is the bag and how much hay from the bag gets eaten a day, also have you been feeding it other things?
I give some pretty big handfuls every day. I would definitely get a new bag, since hay can go bad after a while. I try to fill half the litter box (or an entire hay bag) with hay! Hope this helps!
