The problem with this theory is believing or thinking that the game knows which rolls are bad and which are good. Presumably all of the rolls are equal to the game. This also assumes a VERY rudimentary RNG system, in fact it assumes something that is not actually Random at all. It's an interesting theory, but I feel like if it were this simple it would be proven and everyone would do it, also it would probably be fixed.
the game kinda knows whats bad roll, did you forget that the cr and cd rolls have low roll chances? so the statisticaly you will get the low chances too afetr a few higher rolls^^
@@marselinusnugraha2207Not really, everything has a probability and unlike pity on the wishing banner there is no set limit before you are guaranteed a good artifact.
Thanks for this guide. It's Very close to what I currently do. But it's nice to try different methods, especially this one, as it seems more promising and less time-consuming.
I’m at the point with genshin where whishing / spending is not a great option anymore. Before 3.0 i got every character. The problem is that i spend every resin on farming for talent and level up materials. Downside also is that I relied on wanderers troupe and gladiator sets. Because I had no resin left for artifact domains. between 3.0 and now 4.2 I finally begon to farm for artifacts and now I finally got more then 30 stars in the spiral abyss. Hoyoverse should really rethink this rng artifact system. Because if there are more people who thing as me, then people will eventually stop pulling for characters to focus on the ones they already own.
This video just proves the problem with the RNG based artifact system. Whether my characters are actually viable shouldn't be up to chance. A big side problem is other players making fun of you for not having good substats
i believed in this method thanks the accuracy is about 70 percent in my acc actually good. i have rolled multiple artifacts and rolled in crits always nce guide
Your MOI is similar to what i found. I usually wait until my artifacts are almost full and i start to upgrade. I save the best for the last. I will start by testing some good potential artifacts, until i start to get many good substats then i will go to the ONE i have been waiting to upgrade. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. but i still like this way.
a trick I found in the most recent patch that works 90% of the time is when you have 1 more upgrade level to go (4, 8, 16, 20) and you use different artefact types (no 2 the same) it always upgrades my crit substat. like i use 1 noblesse, 1 heart of depth and 1 emblem. doesnt matter the fodder substat it always does that. bonus if the type of fodder is also different like 1 flower, 1 feather and 1 circlet for example. i have been doing this and it gives crit upgrade 9 times out of 10 no matter the substats of the fodder im using I know it's random luck but for some reason, this has been working in the current patch for me regardless of other factors. I also found when using a 5 star flower alone to raise the level to 4, 8, 16, 20 etc it usually upgrades the crit substat. edit. I used this method to get a 14% crit rate substat on 1 artifact and a 42.2% crit damage substat value on a different artifact :) However, I also noticed that there are certain days of the week where you have higher chances for certain substats over others regardless of the method. I test other artifacts and notice they are mostly upgrading def so I dont bother until reset. then I see on a different day, I keep getting crit and atk% rolls so I use the above method to max out crit substats
Does the mainstat matter when you select the fodder? Ik you said substats don’t matter and using different sets/parts of it helps but what about the main stats?
@@kawaiitsundere6673 when it's the last level to go to upgrade a substat on your chosen piece, I found that most of the time it didn't work was with a def main stat fodder. But other times it was random. When it was working, my highest success was using something with mainstat crit, hp and energy recharge. I try to avoid fodder with substat def aswell because that always gave me a 50/50 chance of success or straight up didn't work. I avoid Def like the plague on that last level upgrade
I think you might be onto smth here, just yesterday i got 14 cr on a marechaeusse flower after using a pavillion flower to upgrade it. Then for the last two rolls, i used a marechausse flower and it rolled into def,, which is in line with what you said, so i think i’ll try your method from now on!!
@@kawaiitsundere6673 that's awesome! I just hope this method stays working 🤣 of course it's not fool proof but it works often enough for me to stick by it!
i actually feel like this rng system on artefacts in itself is a joke, heck, i am 100% sure every artefacts have different crit drops chance because, i have farmed shimenawa since i first ever unlocked inazuma which was 2 years + ago and have only farmed there mainly (i only farm decent ones for other new characters i got) i have not stopped wasting my resin in shimenawa ever since because this artefact is so versatile and OP for alot of characters, and i havent gotten a single 40cv artefact, artefacts sub stats should be able to get combined as like how you would combine different pieces of artefacts, i actually have a hunch that this specific artefact (shimenawa) actually has lower chance of dropping crit substats, 2 years plus farming on the same domain is not a healthy amount, i came to this conclusion because the EOSF artefact gives alot of ER upon upgrading, and what a coincidence that the other counterpart doesnt give good Crits?
hello, i have a question, so i have a circlet that gives crit dmg and i upgrated it, and it gave 17.5% of def and 13.2% of prob crit, and i am questioning myself if this is a good piece. What should i do?
From what you described, I assume it's a +20 Crit DMG Circlet that has 13.2% Crit Rate and 17.5% DEF. Generally, this is a good piece. You have 3 rolls into Crit Rate on a Circlet, which is great. 2 rolls into DEF is not ideal, but it could be good for any DEF-scaling characters (e.g. Itto). More information like if it's the right artifact set you want, if you already have any better pieces, what are the other substats, etc. would be great. But in most cases I would keep this piece, since lots of units would appreciate a good Crit DMG circlet with a high Crit Rate substat.
