Kane is far superior to Watkins. Gareth needs to supply him with the ball or allow him to come back to get it. and most importantly provide one ir nore runners for Harry to pick out from deep.

The elephant in the room is Southgate's lack of tactical prowess offensively,putting players out of position to doggedly to his defensive mentality. Tent Alexander is a luxury player, neither good enough as right back or midfield. Kain has become a No 8 or 10 and hasn't the legs for a No 9 without progressive wingers like Gorden.
Foden is a No10 not No 11 and Bellingham would play best alongside Rice with both Foden and Palmer behind Kain or preferably Watkins..
