Mine is giving me a AAAA record conflict, it says to remove all the AAAA records? do I remove them before adding the new cname record and the A record?
@whattheworldneeds9155 Yeah you’ll have to add the record first on the hosting/domain side. Then it’ll automatically delete the current AAAA name for you
Why did you add the www. ? I thought that makes it a subdomain. I have a domain with Hostinger that I want to host on GHL. When you transfer the hosting from one service to GHL, does that release you from the hosting payments with the previous hoster?
What if you built your site and domain on another platform and I wanted to keep it there. Can I still create a subdomain on GHL and buildout funnels, landing pages,etc ?
Ok I already had a full site set up on my domain and once connected to GHL that site doesn't show anymore. How do I get that site to show instead of all these redirects? I'm not ready to have it go to specific funnels yet.
Yo, great tutorial! I'm in BlueHost and keep getting an error that Multiple A records found. Also when I try to add the CNAME record it returns an error saying The DNS zone file is invalid. I'm totally stuck, any ideas?
This was an excellent and very easy to understand video. I used Namecheap. You didn't mention hosting. Does the domain need to be on a hosting plan to be mapped to GHL?

for any domain setup, whether automatic or manual, the correct DNS records need to be in place for the domain to function properly within GHL.

To get your original site to show instead of the redirects to GHL, you would need to update the DNS settings to point back to your original site.
Can you do it for Squarespace ?
It follows the same rules, just look for domains and DNS zone editor.

No it is hosted natively on GHL
How can I manually add the A name record when my wix domain doesn't allow the @ symbol?

You would need to reach out to your client to get their username and password.

When you add your domain just dont choose a homepage
Before i am able to authorize my domain its telling me this. "AAAA record conflict. Please remove All AAAA records." Im not sure what to do.
That means you have an existing AAAA record, you can try removing it and re-authorizing your domain.
