Hi, Thanks for sharing your comment. I agree with your point, but they are surprisingly very compatible if raised together from a young stage. They generally occupy different sections of the water column and rarely compete for space. And my aro is very gentle towards most fish that I introduce later to the tank including plecos. The key I learned is to condition your arowana with tank mates early on.
