Islam Teaches basically what you saying.
Allah tells us that the hearts find fulfillment in worshipping Him alone.
And the prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: if the son of Adam was given a valley of gold, he would want another one.
So humans if we had a valley worth of gold we would still want more, like you explained.
So please read the Quran and discover Islam.
