Great video again!! The mixup with jgs 2 do i sometimes with 1 of my favorite moves of king d 1+3. Without the refloat, must practice that!!! Keep up the great work man!! I get better with every vid!! Thanks alot 👌👍
Yes! Thank you way better then the previous guide for refloat you did where i commented on looking forward to part 2 :p this is a clear and good explenation keep it up :D
Put mix-ups into the mix-ups within your mix-ups xD Great video as always, need to get my King execution on point again and start the online grind so imma study up aha
Awesome stuff as usual. Just wanted to point out that a tailspin will work after a refloat if a tailspin was not used in the original combo (for the characters that can, like Josie)
This is true, i didn't want to involve that in the video to make it even more complicated. The game mechamics allow 1 tailspin per juggle and they also count refloat a part of the juggle that lead to it. So in light of that, if you did not use the tailspin in the actual juggle, it can be used in the refloat. Though, this way the refloatong becomes that much harder, since the window to begin one is actually reduced to 2 frames from about five times bigger window if using a tailspin prior to refloating. On top of that, we wouldn't be able to take advantage of this mix up or the use of assist tools without the tailspin prior to the refloat. Having said all that, there are a few exceptions where knowing this is useful. I have already recorded such footage and it will be presented in a shorter future video. Well done spotting this Michael :3
These combos are also possible with Lee's df4 > b3, 3, super awesome stuff I never thought about until now. Here's the best combo I was able to come up with: gfycat.com/EnviousKaleidoscopicBlueshark 56 + 39 = 95 damage without walls! Not bad!
When i saw this way back it was a pretty hard sell for me. And now i'm still not sold on this entierly because opponent just need to hold back you lose damage and a very valuable RJB okizeme and for that you only get 14 chip damage. Also for this tech you need a very clear picture of the opponets mind with that you can't really use this tech right away like Lil Majins BK setups. BUT you gave a very-very usefull implication of JS which can't be ingnored and if you provide some footage of this tech used in a real match i'll be probably sold on it. For now i'll reserve my full opinion till 2nd part. I do commend you on creativity may be with this tech we'll get new setups! P. S. Please prove me wrong!
Col vid and was interesting to see you talk about the thought process. However giving up garenteed damage to put yourself in a mix up seems unwise to me. The high is duckable and thus you can be luanched, and the mid is -9 means you gave up your shining wizard to be mixed up and thats if they even tech roll AND you guessed they would. I personally think there is too many variables for this to be useful. That said, thanks for making the vid!
I do agree with BentJacket somewhat. There are many variables. If the opponent is familiar with the set up, it might be better to stick with the Shining ender. Emphasis on the IF. How many can say they know this mix up? Having said that, the part 2 of this video is coming and let me tell you.. It'll make this set up worth it ;)!
In my estimation, based on a hopkick, ... , 12 ff1 combo (67), the setup would need to do more than 71 damage. (67 + ((9 + 8)/ 2 )/2)) = 71.25. So as you guys should know king gets a 50/50 after iSW ender between d3(9 dmg) and df4 (8 dmg). Your average damage on a successful 50/50 would then be (9 + 8) / 2 = 8.5. Then you take half of that for the times they guess right and you get no damage 8.5 / 2 = 4.25. Add that to your combo, 67 + 4.25 = 71.25. So in theory that should be your baseline damage for the mix up. Of course I didn't subtract damage in the scenario where they block d3 and you get punished, mostly because I didn't want to do that math but that is important to keep in mind. And if there is anything wrong in these calculations please let me know. I'm sure I could do the hard math on which is more viable, but tekken doesn't really work that way anyways, and I'm sure the jgs2 mixup will be more buff in any case.
Brandon McCoy I love doing the tekken math, i used to approximate max damage combos for the game before tekken 7 came out, by only knowing the scaling and base damages of moves
Part two coming very soon. It'll be an even better tech than this! :)
Try not to get overwhelmed by this strategy video, it is a handful!
See you soon :)

If you are worried about variables, you really shouldn't be playing Tekken in the first place lol
BentJacket Tekken is all about risks in mixups, welcome to Tekken
