I was one of those kids that got teased for the food I brought to school and would beg my parents to make "normal" foods. I don't think you understand how much it warmed my heart when you said "my kids won't be the ones doing the teasing."
It's so heartwarming how she teaches them to respect other cultures, they're such good kids aa
If god grants me children , i will try to raise my kids like hanna does
That's why I liked the video 🥰
Sameee
SAAAME I GOT TINGLES
Not a single complaint from Wyatt. This is telling me he is a man of international taste. Such a classy man.
@@hannahlilywilliams oh definitely! More seasoning in the future, mom! Lol
Watch the video „I secretly fed my family vegan meals for a week“ he is sooo picky he doesn’t even know its vegan but he complains and doesn’t want to try at all he even ignored hannah there because he didndt like how the burger looks
@@stupidboba92 yes I've watched it! He's not picky in the videos lately, so I feel like he's grown up a lot.
Babies can change..so don't have the notion too long
Ikr!
Hannah is an example parent. I love how she wants to open up MANY different types of cuisines to her family.
"Resting Wyatt Face" lol.
One of my friend's teenagers is at the "angsty" phase of his age, and even when he is being an absolute darling to his younger siblings it sounds very aggressive and I'm told it is the funniest thing.
Thanks for raising your boys to be unequivocally themselves and to not be food bullies.
the fact that Hannah is so respectful, AND is teaching her kids to give that same respect to all cuisines really gives me a lot of hope for the world:)
She's such a great mom.
@Alex what is your problem
@alex who hurt you?
She and her family just seem like lovely people 🥰 i love this series!!
God bless, Jesus loves you and died for you all
"So that when they see someone eating with their hands, they can think to themselves. Oh, I've eaten with my hands and I know that certain foods are meant to be eaten with your hands."
that's what you called an awesome mom, teaches mannerism and other countries culture.
I'm filipino and eating with hands is fun ngl. Asians r just cool and on another level😎
I agree! I'm also a bit confused because I'm pretty sure most Americans eat pizza with their hands so why do they make fun of us for doing the same thing lol it's really hypocritical when you think about it
God bless, Jesus loves you and died for you all
Yesssss! I loved this!!
totally agree with your reply but also omg JUNGWOO in your pfp!! yay !
When you said you did not serve it with utensils because its meant to be eaten with your hands because when they see someone doing it they think I've eaten with my hands made me tear up. Most cultures have dishes that are just eaten that way. That's awesome. you go mom.
We don't neee a part three... We need this to be a series ❤️❤️
"I'd feed that to my in laws." Now THAT is some praise
I was imagining vietnamesse grandma nodding
@Alex sounds like ur just racist
@Alex your food prob is just dried chicken
🙈🙈 I totally would though!! 🤣🤣
@Alex you probably eat unseasoned chicken
I would love a video centered around Matt...whether it’s him handling the boys one weekend, being a single dad for a week or even doing all the cooking for a week ! Lol. Love this series !!
Matt cooks my complicated recipes without help for a week!
Yes!
Yes!!!!!
I genuinely don't understand people's issue with the word "MOIST".
It just sounds weird.
Me too
@@legendlila1034 So what about word "acquaintance"?
@@andziazach I didn’t know people have a problem with acquaintance.
I wanna cry. This is so amazing. Especially the part where she made sure the family ate the foods how its supposed to be eaten. Wow, these kids are being raised right.
As one of those teased kids, I thank you for raising your children with an open heart and mind. I know you call yourself the world’s most ok-est mom but you are an exceptional woman. I can only hope that I can be as great of a mom as you are when I have a brood of my own.
That said, I would love to see you make Halo-Halo (known as Mix-Mix as the translation) for the family! It’s a very fun, sweet, and cold dessert dish that is perfect for hot California weather!
You take some shaved ice, add sweet coconut jelly (especially ones that are green or red), coconut shreds, ube halaya which is a sweet purple yam jam, sweet corn or chickpeas, fresh jackfruit or mango, half a banana, and if you wanna be daring... add avocado ice cream too, and then top it off with evaporated milk! You can serve it in a very tall milkshake glass or a bowl and you mix everything up and eat it!
Ughhh if I liked coconut I would try this 💜
@@yikesgina Oh it’s good even without the coconut and you can omit the coconut and add things like almond pudding, even caramel flans, heck even regular jello works so good with it. If you wanna get super fancy, make brown sugar syrup and find some boba. :3
@@seraphinaeyukine have you had it any of these ways? What's your favorite? :)
@@yikesgina My favorite combination has red jello, extra evaporated milk, boba, sweet red beans, sweet chickpeas, coconut strings, mango chunks and banana slices then topped off with ube jam for sure :3
That sounds so good, I gotta try!
Her back must hurt from carrying buzzfeed!!!!!
istg her and Rie
@Gayathri Sankar true, but tasty is a company owned by buzzfeed. hannah works for both tasty and buzzfeed.
Looked at their most recent videos. Views have been low. Damn 😕
she should make her own channel
Used to be the Try Guys until they went rogue. Maybe she will too. There have been so many 'why I left Buzzfeed' videos over the last few years. It sounds like a horrendous company to work for.
"I wanna go to Vietnam to eat all this food"
These kids are so cute it melts my heart❤
i like how jackson was like
“she’s in her room so i can secretly dance”
then 15 seconds later
“i have a knife so watch out.”

It really helpeddd❤️❤️
As a Vietnamese person, I'm tearing up watching you all eat Thit Kho! My mom would make this and I would NEVER bring it to school or eat it in front of my friends because I was so afraid to be teased
I feel like every week at least one day you have thit kho or cá kho
Melthesweetpoato :o Really? So interesting!
My friend and her sister had to have those types of food for lunch. Never got teased. Some were even jealous and thought it would better than school lunch. Vietnamese too.
I’m also Vietnamese! Yay :)
I would not eat it at school because I preferred it to be fresh. thit kho just hits different when your mom had just made it. Things like ca kho or ca chien I would eat at school. I don't care that is fresh or not because it just tastes too good for me to care. I personally felt bad for the people who didn't have lunches like me because theirs were so bland or just full of sugar. people at my school envied those who brought lunches from home, especially the good food, not just lunchables or a sandwich.
Let your husband cook dinner and lunches for a week!
Rules:
-takeaway or premade store foods do not count
- he only gets help once per dish
- everyone in the house gets to rate the dish at the end of the night
I think she already does that... Her husband doing super good job but,
She said that she felt most at ease when she cooking so she even said in the last that she can't wait to cooking again despite her husband doing a really good job ;)
Wyatt eating everything without complaint is ✨growth✨ and we love to see it
This is my favourite show in BuzzFeed
Plus this makes you confident about your culture and tradition ,like u won't be nervous about your lunch in school u should be grateful what you have got let the bully tease just ignore them cuz they need topic!
But Hannah is just such wonderful dat she make her bois experience every part of life
Love it❤️!

My favorite in youtube, I’m not a mom but this series always stand out in my youtube algorithm which is dominated by classic motorcycle and skateboarding. Totally random

“Puerto Rico knows what its doing” YES JACKSON YOURE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT WE KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN IT COMES TO FOOD
My literal reaction to Jackson saying that was "yeah we do nene"
@@sarymitc yesss😂
Facts. I'm married to one and oh lord it's heaven.
The way Hannah respects cultures and teaches her kids to you just know her kids are going to be making amazing moves in the future ❤️
I’m Peruvian and I started crying when Matt said that Arroz con Pollo was his favorite dish 😍
You guys should try Peruvian Fried Rice as well. SO GOOOOD!
ok.
Oooo! What goes in? That sounds yummy!
I let my husband cook the meals for a week. I would be curious to see what Matt comes up with. My dad knows how to make two things scrambled eggs and cornflake fried chicken.
Yes, I’d love to see that too.
Totally off topic from the video but i'm super curious so i have to ask, what the heck is cornflake fired chicken?
It's like KFC but the crumb coating is corn flakes
@@hurmatm6009 Seriously,huh,how strange,does it taste good?
Yes yes yes
I’m a Native Mom and seeing you eat one of our soul foods. It made me so happy. Such a good mama. Much respect and love to you and your family ❤️
That fry bread honestly looked so good! It made me want to try it!
World okayest mom doesn't cut it... these kids have the best momma!! They are becoming wonderful humans because of you and your husband! Beautiful job!🙏🥰
i loved how hannah chose such a good variety of foods and didn‘t resort to just food that you can typically find anywhere
I’ve realized that when Wyatt really likes something he eats with his hands in the air 😂
This series is so special, you’re not an okay mom, you’re a great mom!
Love how open your kids are to trying new foods!
@Alex shut up
@Alex no need to be a downer
"World's okest Mom." You are far to modest. The exposure and appreciation for other cultures you are giving your family is incredible!
I found it so cute that what Jackson wanted to do when Hannah wasn’t watching and the camera was rolling was DANCE !!!!!
This needs to be a continued series! I love it. I also love how Wyatt is embracing different food. Jackson is still the GOAT.
I’m so proud of Hannah for teaching her children great habits and new foods.
Thank you so much for teaching your children about different cuisines and cultures. I’ve been in situations where people have looked down on me and other communities who eat certain food with their hands. So it means a lot to me to see that there are some really nice people out there 💜
I love this series, Hannah. You had me from the beginning when you said that your kids will not be the ones to make fun of somebody else's lunch just because it looks/smells different. Thanks!
Mom of 5 here just wanted to tell you the you inspire me to try new things and keep an AMAZING attitude while doing so. Thank you so very much, please never leave me 🤣❤️
I’m Haitian, and this makes me so happy🥺 love from a Haitian girl🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹
“Puerto Rico knows what they’re doing” 😂😍AYYYYEEEEE 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷 Every dish honestly looked so delicious!
Jackson: mom isn't watching now I can dance
Hannah: I HAVE A KNIFE
Its also good to know that "actions speak louder than words". Here, it means, you don't have to TELL your kids how to do things or what to do or what not to do, sometimes you just have to let them understand certain concepts by themselves through what they see and this is a technique Hannah seems to employ with her kids.
jackson wearing anime outfits makes me proud. last time it was the sasuke costume, this time its the dbz shirt

You're not only introducing their palates to different cuisines, but you are also imparting to them learning about cultures and being understanding!! You're not just the world's okay-est mom, you're for sure one of the best ❤
I’m 25 and have found my love for cooking and this video has totally opened my mind to cook foods from all over the world!! You aren’t just helping raise awareness for younger kids to be open minded for cultural food but young adults too cause I never felt confident even trying but I’m definitely gonna do some research! If anyone sees this PLEASE comment some recipes/links to your favorite cultural food for a beginner to make 😍❤️
@@hannahlilywilliams the queen herself replied😍😍 thanks so much! You’re my favorite on buzzfeed ❤️

You have no idea how much this means to me. I'm 16 year old Chinese person and when I was younger, I was made fun of at school for bringing my culture food. That kids point out that I ate rice every day or "what is that???" in a not so nice way. I was embarrassed and ashamed of it, but I didn't know how to stand up for myself at the time, so I never asked my parents to make me "normal food." I just loved my food so much as a Chinese Canadian and will still eat with my hands or chopsticks when it's meant to. I hope you can do China as your next country of choice for foods in this series!! Our main culture dishes are like rice, fung fu noodles, soups, pork, etc. Such amazing foods we have and I know I'm being a bit bias here, but I think Asian food is the best culture food in my opinion!!! Specifically Vietnamese or Chinese food!! Especially Philippino food omg. So much love for you Hannah and I aspire to become the wonderful mom you are!!! ❤❤❤ you don't give yourself enough credit for this, but you are the best mom out there, not just an "ok" mom because you are so much more than that!!! 💗💗💗
@Alex boy bye, your probably nasty and unhygienic
@Alex get outta here
@Alex Bruh I bet you were one of those kids who tease others for their cultural food
@Alex maybe you think like that. But just because some bad apples are like that doesn't mean every one is like that
I’m convinced you guys are the main reason buzzfeed videos are still kicking 😬 I love your videos on all channels ❤️ You’re an amazing mama
She should do a “I let my husband cook all the food for a week” LOVE YOUR VIDEOS 😃👍✊
Part 3 please. Amazing job teaching respect and appreciation of other cultures, Hannah! Thank you :)
matt's little "hi :>" WAS SO WHOLESOME AHHH
I love this!! I hope it becomes a longer series, it's so special to see your family try these dishes and experience the world from them!
This is one of my favourite series! I hope Buzzfeed doesn’t cancel this.
I’ve been watching for so long and it has truly been a blessing to watch Hannah grow as a mum and her gorgeous boys grow up. Thank you for letting us be apart of your family 💘💘
Hi Hannah! A country you should do if you do another part to this series is Laos (pronounced lao)! There are foods like Laap (lao meat salad) and tam mak hoong (spicy papaya salad)
I would love to see this! Here's hoping for a part three ❤❤
I’m so hormonal. I totally cried when she said her kids will not be doing the teasing 😭 👏
I love watching her and her family. They're so genuine and loving and it comes through on camera.
Next time you should make BIRRIA and QUESABIRRIAS 🤤🤤🤤 🇲🇽
Omg yes!
Oh definitely do a part 3. I definitely enjoyed seeing your kids try different foods I wish I had exposed my children too different foods. 🌹🌹
It warms my heart that the boys took a few bites of foreign food and said they wanted to go to said foreign place. Growing up in a small southern town, people were stoked to go to tourist trap American beaches where I was excited to see the world with my family. My dad always jokes about befriending a local then offering them a couple hundred bucks to take us home with them and cook for us. There’s not necessarily anything wrong with going on a tourist trap vacation, but you get an appreciation for other cultures when you travel outside your own country-and the first cultural touchstone is food. ❤️
I'd love to see the Part 3 of this! Good job making those foods, Hanna. All of it looks amaaaazing
I love how she is doing this to teach her boys a good lesson and a lesson to all of us ☺️💙
Buzzfeed is winning with Hannah , this is there best content
Hannah’s mom skills are 👍🏽 , love the way you teach your kids about different cultures
Hannah saving the world once recipe at a time.
P.S. On the flip side, I was the one who brought the Korean food to school, only to have my friends eat it. So my mom would have to make extras. This was especially true when I brought kimbap to school.
Henry is such a mood 😂
The collective mind blown from the boys was my favorite so cute 🥺
PART 3 PLEASE!!! Can't get enough love your family!:)
I feel like you are teaching your kids to be open to new things and that is so amazing - keep up the good work ❤️
I love these videos. watching this makes me realise how many recipes I want to try out from different cultures and countries
I am not on Instagram currently, but I think you should really really really make Aloo Paratha. It is an Indian food/dish. SUCH a comfort food. Great during winter because they give such a warm and homely feeling.
Loved it! Wanna see part 3!
absolutely LOVE THIS series ❤️❤️
Mofongo is definitely a staple food in Puerto Rico and I’m glad you all loved it! Not a lot of people get to try the heavenly creation that is Puerto Rican food
We should do Hanna’s husband cooks for a week.
For sure a part 3! Thanks for sharing the adventure and bon appetite!
I would love to see a part 3 of this subject matter on either this season or next season of mom in progress. Love this series, whenever im stressed, i watch these videos and its very relaxing.
I just watched the first part of this series again and I was like 'omg it's soo cool I need more of these'and there she goes yay.
Haitian food is a labor of love I'm happy Jennifer gave you an easy recipe. Plantains should be laying down in the pan and pikliz taste AMAZING in hamburgers( I eat it like that sometimes). 🇭🇹🇭🇹
Please do a part 3! I love these videos, its giving me a few new recipes to try out!
Food can be such an intimate part of an identity. This series is inspiring and healing. Seeing the excitement in your kids to try new foods, and the norm this cultivates for them is AWESOME! Thank you - this is beyond another “UA-cam video”. It’s not just a gesture - it’s experience, memories and evolution.
OMG I perked right up when you mention arroz con pollo verde. My mom made it the other week and I was so happy to see you guys eating Peruvian food!! ❤️❤️❤️
AND mofongo! My two cultures one after the other lol
Wyatt is SUCH a freaking mood. How I can always relate to this child is beyond me.😂
I love this series, please keep them coming.
Please make more of these Hannah, I love watching videos of you and your family! 🌹
there should totally be a “matt cooks dinner (or breakfast/lunch) for a week” 😆
Thank you so much! I used to hate packing my lunch to school because kids would think the food my mom packed smelled bad or looked weird. Jackson, Wyatt and Henry will be great people one day!
I love this series, please make more if you can!
I adore these videos and I really hope to see so many more of them! Hannah and her family are so amazing and I never get tired of these videos! This video was so cool and I definitely want to try this with my family!
Please try some South African food next, I recommend malva pudding with custard or bunny chow (I’m sure your boys would love that)❤️
Can we please have Matt cook for the whole week & call it Matt's ok-est week..😃😃love your show from South Africa.
Yes we need more part!!
I’d love if you guys were able to make this a lil series! I love these videos!! :)
This is now officially my favorite series in youtube and I'm not even a mom. Although I'll probably watch it with my mom if she's still around but yeah not anymore so yeah maybe that's why I'm really into this.
The kids are the judges and I love it
we need a part 3 or just a whole series at this point i love learning and seeing you cook
I love this seriesss, looking forward to more parts
Thit kho is one of my favorite dishes! It's such a comfort food. We normally use pork belly for ours and gotta have the hard boiled eggs/quail eggs in it. Sooo yummy. Try it with the eggs next time!
Please, we need a video where Matt cooks everything and you can just sit and chill
of course we want a part 3!!!!! we love watching you
Definitely love this series. Part 3 pls
