What has the most catalase? How low can you cook the potatoes without causing it to be denatured? Note: PH 9 has highest foam.Thank you.

when your school makes you design an experiment of pH and catalase and you have no idea what your doing

my teacher told me to do a cup of water in the potato water mixture so I did. I assumed that meant to distribute that all evenly throughout my cups and I ended up using 1/4 potato water and 1/4 hydrogen peroxide. My bubbles ended up super short like a half inch at best. Super sad. might have to redo it.

Same but we don’t know what the independent variable will be (could be ph, surface area or concentration) and we have to come up with a method and conduct it in 3 hours, thank god I’m doing it this year because they used to have to do the write up (discussion, conclusion) at the same time 💀

Question how do we use this knowledge practically in everyday life question will the catalase liquid work on the head scalp where the subject scalp has been overwhelmed with hydrogen peroxide and has turned his hair grey how do you apply this knowledge

Does h2o2 only break down with catalase? How does it break down when you add to plain tap water? Thanks

The catalase is separating the water from the oxygen. That is the reaction.
