Hello Chris! I’m a fan of your channel, thanks for the content you post. I live in Birmingham Alabama and have a regular poker game with the guys for low stakes. I am curious about your poker chip sets, and I know that you love to collect new sets, as seen in these unboxing videos. The only set of chips I have are the common “dice” poker chips you can get anywhere. We’ve been playing with them for years and they get the job done. My question is, do you ever do a raffle drawing for your audience, to give away one of your sets? Or, do you sell an old set? Thanks for your time man
In the same group buy I got the cash version of these and also love them! I also got the crystal parks and dude…. Might be the best looking set iv ever had. The colors are unreal
Wow I explored binions Casio and walked right through that empty room 3 weeks ago. I had no clue that’s where the World Series used to be held. I played at some pretty cool spots around town. Wish I could see some of those old poker rooms.
Hey Chris, stumbled across your channel and I really enjoyed it. I hope you are doing well and can get back to some videos soon! I loved going through the dealer's choice games!
I really want to get back to it, just haven’t had any time these days! It will happen this year, a couple more stud variants and then the Omaha varieties!
Hey Chris sorry to bug you again but I'm so glad you responded. We're staring up a micro stakes game using nickels/quarters/dollars for chip denoms and doing a bunch of dealer's choice games, including some of the whacky variants like Baseball etc. For ante games we're doing 5¢ antes, and for blind games 5¢/10¢. For the fixed games, I was thinking a 10¢ small bet, and the big bet jumps to 25¢. Is this an issue having the big bet be 2.5x the small bet? I wanted to do it for simplicity and reduce the need for as many nickels. Are there any ramifications i'm not aware of for changing these small/big bet sizes to not be 2x? Thanks for your expertise!@@chrismanzoni3586
Did you ever go to the Mirage poker? I stayed there New Year’s Eve 2016 and regret not playing in a tournament there. But Binion’s closing their poker room?!?!?! That’s sacrilege!
This very much. Seeing the empty space that used to be where the WSOP was born was the biggest disappointment of my last trip to Vegas this past October--a trip that was otherwise a blast thanks to South Point. If Terry Caudill ever brings poker back to Binion's, he should definitely take the opportunity to make Binion's the next place to be for Mixed Games (especially O8/E8).
I played quite a bit at the Palms in 07/08. One or two tables of 2/5 and a few of 1/2 and some fixed limit on the other side. They really messed up a promotion once. They tried to bring in traffic so they did a $1 million freeroll for anyone who logged 200-500 hours at the room from January 1st to June 30th. half way through, it looked like they were going going to have a few dozen people qualify so they did double hours on Mondays and Tuesdays. I think only 160 people qualified so the value was ridiculous. If you only played the minimum and play exclusively on Mon-Tue, it was like $60/hr in EV. Someone walked away with $500k.
Hi Chris! Are you still considering crafting a video for dealing with problem players, peace keepers, cheaters, rebuy gamers, etc.? Even if it's more anecdotal.
For the price they are very high quality and stand up to most ceramics, including the vendors you mention. There is sometimes some color bleeding over the indented card mold parts, I didn’t notice it with these chips, but it’s more apparent in the Aria chips in my video 31.
@@abc1099a I love both a lot, I definitely don’t have a preference. The standard size is 39mm and that’s what most people are used to. It’s for sure a personal preference.

I miss you so much
So glad to see a new video Chris! Look forward to more
You good buddy? Been a while since your last video? I hope all is well.
O'Shea's poker room was very neat room to play back in the day

1 yr since you’ve posted it’s been to long
Hi Chris, are these comparable, in terms of quality, to another set from Apache or thepokerstore?

Hi, mi name is Jose…. I would like to send you some ceramic chips I had made (AZTEC themed) for you to evaluate them on your channel!
Hi! Will you review the Binion’s Horseshoe card mold poker chips? Currently a group buy on pokerchipsforum.
I will see if I can get some sample sets in the February group buy, it would be cool to do a comprehensive close-up look at all they have to offer.
@@chrismanzoni3586 Yeah that would be cool!
