Very beautiful! I have created 3 gardens in my life. And when we moved, I had to leave everything behind and started from scratch. Now I have my third garden, built from scratch. Though the land is bigger I am not able to create a bigger garden anymore, because I am 68 and ill. It’s so sad, the plants and trees survive you and someone else (might) enjoys your garden.
Thank you. All gardeners will eventually face the same situation. To continue to enjoy our garden to whenever it ends, our perspective of expectation from our garden may have to evolve, and be contented with the compositions we created in our garden as our sanctuary; imperfect as they may be. Indeed, it is sad that the garden and plants that we created may not be treasured or destroyed by the next person inheriting them. That's life.
Thanks. None of my trellis are metal. I made them with simple wood pieces and a piece of wire mesh. Some of them were stained earth brown. I need this simple crude design because I need to make many cheaply and quickly and they can be move around easily.
Bonjour, votre jardin est magnifique autant que le montage et la musique qui l'accompagne. Pouvez-vous me dire de quel compositeur est la musique qui se trouve vers la 9e minute ? Merci de votre réponse.
Absolutely beautiful collection of evergreens, acers, and perennials! Where in Canada are you located? Just wondering where you source your dwarf evergreens and dwarf acers as well as your epimediums and other obscure perennials not usually found in garden centers.
Thanks. We are in Southern Ontario near Toronto. I sourced the Acer from many places over the years but more recently mostly from Whistling Gardens and Vineland Nursery. Epimedium were mostly from Lost Horizon and Thimble Farms etc.
@@gardencanadensis8412 we’re neighbours. I also garden in the GTA. Zone 5/6. I appreciate the response and will most certainly look them up. Of course I look forward to watching your garden tours esp now that winter is upon us. Thanks.

You have Beautiful gardens! Where do you get your metal trellises for your clematis? I struggle with finding nice trellises.

@@gardencanadensis8412 Thank you very much.
Спасибо, что подписываете названия растений!
Интересно, сколько лет вы создавали свой сад? Ведь он, по моему очень большой.
Thank you. The garden was started many years ago but serious gardening started in 2008.
