Quin advocates for doubling or tripling monster health and then says that idea is dogshit in the next sentence.
Jesus you're clueless... He said double and when Chris said "other games handle it by *_endlessly_*_ and _*_exponentially_*_ _*_scaling_*_ monster life and damage"_ he said that is dogshit and brought up d3 as an example.
In other words, wanting to double monster HP is not the same as having monsters *endlessly* and *exponentially* *scale* life and damage. Even if he said they should 1000x the health, it wouldn't be the same as *endlessly* and *exponentially* *scaling* monster life.
Look up the bolded words. Also go look up a GR100+(or whatever is considered high these days) D3 run for an example of what *endlessly* and *exponentially* *scaling* monster life does to the gameplay experience. It's not pretty.

it's so fast the only way to really play the game enjoyable is SSF, because day 1 you can be full build... as if it's fucking diablo 3 and day 1 you're in GR150.
Final Fantasy fan here. Now I may not speak for every fan of the franchise. But even I could agree that downvoting Quin69's videos (that is NOT related to "First time on FFXIV! Finally a WoW competitor?") is really stupid. Just stop.... get some help...

@@mortenskands201 how about you skip that chromatic orb when clearing fast becomes more rewarding than looting basic bi** currency _(I personally love picking up currency and gladly sacrifice clear speed to do it... lol.)._
If you're worried about your wrist, do stretching exercises once(or more) a day and try to move your wrist less by using your arm more when moving your mouse.
@@handsomebear. i was doing valdos rest farming last in this current league with around 5 ex invested in each map, picking up all the currency shards etc etc was what it took for it to be really worth it. me looting the map took more than 15 minutes, this could be fixed by making all currency items drop in stacks, instead of having to make 10 clicks to pick up one item type. super easy fix

I wanted to play FFXIV, but game dosen't let me to even try it on it's free trial! It's a joke! Advanced game? Get out of here! You wouldn't get to lvl 2 on HC league in PoE! So go play with you Lalla. The strory is good? Perhaps ... but I watch movies and read books for stories and play games for gameplay! Not to mention I don't like anime. With everything there's a few exceptions. Like Ninja Scroll and Akira ... but that's about it. No I do not even like Ghibli movies! I said it. But generaly speaking anime games drive me away!
Quin has every right to his opinion! If anime style game is not a "fair criticism" to you ... it is for me! For example: Some people judge games for graphics only - You may not agree to that, I may not agree to that - but they are not wrong in stating it!

If you see the reviews the other FF14 streamers have said and even tried to comprehend what he did, then he got what was pretty much coming a wave of backlash of people that felt it was unjust to say what he said so they turned it on to disliking his videos just like him disliking the game

25:45 I was little bit surprised that you said that D3 suffers from powergreep. You should know that D3 has "infinite" difficulty system so powergreep isn't problem!
It's not "infinite", GR150 is max.
Even if it was infinite it would be a dogshit system since they're just increasing monster damage and hp.

Next season top players may reach it but it is only one season.
@@hehexd4774 it is the definition of difficulty level!? What else they can do? I think its good system that casual players can reach ~100 and non-casual players can do ~140 at the end of the season. Everybody happy..
