    I do want to get hold of a Complete Poem of Akhmatova. Might have to wait a bit though. The Janet Fitch books I'd really like to read based on the synopses. I've got a battered 2nd hand Penguin Modern Poets collection of Mandelstam's poetry that's great. I also read a small Marina Tsvetaeva collection too. I sort went through a Russian poets phase. There's a small collection called Four of Us: Pasternak, Akhmatova, Tsvetaeva, Mandelstam that I also read as part of that. I find Pasternak's poetry very hard. It's very 'impressionistic' - if that's the right word.
