Spot on! This got me thinking. I'd sit there and sometimes even think about a creative edit or vision in my head and how it'd turn out, while it'd be more helpful to get my hands dirty and test it out :)
So I used an app called Toggl, and I track anytime I'm working on something. And I did that for a few months. The cool thing about the app is that you can see graphs of your work hours. And I found that anytime I did over 6 hours, my productivity suffered the next day or the end of the week. I found it hard to get up and get to work etc. So that's kind of how I found the sweet spot!
