  • In this video I restore the headlights on my 2006 Toyota Corolla. The plastic was yellow and foggy and I wanted to make it more clear. I use a mask, safety glasses, nitrile gloves, a plastic spray bottle filled with water, an old cotton shirt that I don't use anymore, 800 grit sandpaper, Novus 1 Plastic Clean And Shine, Novus 2 Fine Scratch Remover, and Novus 3 Heavy Scratch Remover.

I;ve done this kinda thing before the problem is when you remove the yellowing you also remove the coating on the plastic as such this kinda repair doesn't really last unless you put a new anti-UV coating on it.. They sell kits with with everything you need for around 20$ or so...

Wouldn’t a Orbital polisher do a better and quicker job vs by hand?

I've seen better results with just a polish
