I just noticed that the original starting roster for CTR (Crash, Coco, Cortex, N. Gin, Tiny, Polar, Dingodile, and Pura) used their victory animations from that game. Only exclusions are Oxide (He had no victory animation), Tropy (I'm pretty sure he didn't do a sick trick with his staff in the original), and Fake Crash ("ME?!"). Funny thing is that there were plans of remaking of the CTR tracks for Nitro Kart.

But with improved graphics and visuals. Though they did make some changes to the characters, particularly with Coco Bandicoot, Tiny Tiger, and Nitros Oxide, most of the details are more or less the same but with improvements.
