I keep the books for a non-profit ( this is my first year - 2023) and I entered all the donations as sales receipts. I need to print out the donation statements. I have a 2023 Donor Receipt template made but I don't know how to make it pick up the sales receipts/donors for the year. All that is showing is the 12/31/22 balance forward.
I would pull a Sales by customer summary report. It might have a different name in Desktop but it will be similar. When I've done this in the past, I put the data into Excel and then used mail merge (Google if you're not sure what that is, explanations come right up on how to do this in GSheets and Excel) to get it into the word doc with the template.
