Thanks for putting this video up. As one who is in the high-risk category, like you, I found the intro a bit scary but the main message is right on point. We are all in this together, no one gets a free pass and we can beat it if we all work together. As an oldie, I still enjoy my life and don’t want a “game over” just yet.

Remember, Please Self isolate, keep yourself and others safe. Together we can get through this, by supporting each other with our individual choices!

I am staying home. I have SLE and RA so I am very cautious. Thank you and you are in my prayers.

    Hi Tyler,
So pleased to read you are self isolating. I am also.
I haven’t been hoarding but I have 2 hand sanitizers, happy to send you one if you need it. I haven’t been able to get masks for when I eventually do go out, so I have been making fabric ones the last few days. I know there is conflicting info on how affective masks are but I will feel safer with one on when the time comes that I leave the house. Also happy to send you some. I’m in Adelaide so would only be a couple of days for postage. Please let me know if you would like some.
    Take care

Thank you so much, I haven't been hoarding either, but have a sufficient stock so far I think, after being prepared after my BMT to stay isolated. Thank you so much, but will message you if it gets bad, but hopefully we can all come together and not run the resources dry ! I am glad to hear you are isolating and staying safe though! That is so important. Take care of yourself during this, and we can keep up to date with eachother on here for now ! :) Stay safe :D

german virologist said that there haven’t been done any studies on how much those masks help. (i was like wooot? Why not?) well..... there are those normal 3 layer masks, FFP1,2 and 3 .... 3 probably best. But a pain in the butt to wear. They are super tight..... they probably indeed filter out any small virus.
The 3 layer masks would probably too (for a certain amount of time, depending on outside temperature etc.... i wore one outside in the cold and it was soon very wet,,, i wore inside at 20-21 degrees and it was not even humid after 4 hours) only a liiiiittle bit damp.)
BUT, it isn’t really snugg (?) to ur face. Air u breath in also comes in from the sides. It helps to protect ur lips and nose from spitting ppl though. I mean those who talk and spit a bit,...
Other thing would be eyes .... actually one would have to wear security glasses. But who does that 😬
In germany it’s not „cool“ to wear masks yet. At least here in a small village and small city close by. I hope it changes.
If everyone would have access to masks and would wear them, at least nobody who is unknowingly infected would sneeze, cough and spit around their viruses in the amount as if no masks would be worn.

StephyPlantbased the masks I am making are 4 layers of fabric thick. They are not ideal but better than nothing as masks are impossible to get in Australia now.
You are right about eyes too. I received a letter from my optometrist this week to advise me to wear my glasses and not contacts. 1. Because glasses will give a small amount of protection from coughing, sneezing people and 2. Wearing contacts could increase potential for infection. We shouldn’t be touching our eyes at the moment.

I’m actually appalled at some people’s attitude with Covid - 19. Stay safe and keep well. You can’t teach selfish idiots.
