CSX Tampa Street Runner Y295 Chase: Industry Switching in South Tampa!

- Chasing CSX Y295 to South Tampa one evening to watch them switch industries. First caught them street running in Downtown Tampa before going down to Quad Graphics and watching them switch boxcars. This industry just recently added rail service again. Also watched them back down to rattlesnake point and switch Cargiill Sweeteners on the bay. Put the drone up here at sunset to get a cool view of the Gandy Bridge. They left at dusk and so did I. Enjoy the squealing old rails.
Great sequences, very comprehensive coverage of Y295's switching. Beautiful sunset shots in good lighting. This is a hard train to catch.

This was a great video especially with the drone footage! I really want to head out on one of those days it usually comes out and try to catch it while I am still in Florida! New sub! Now adays thr number of street running portions of Railroads is shrinking so to see one that is still running and not a quiet zone running through the middle of the city is amazing! Thanks for the info on when it runs through!
Yeah there were talks of making it a quiet zone for awhile but I’m glad they didn’t do it. Hope you catch it.

Rolls through Downtown Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday around 6pm usually.
