Unboxing a Sky-Watcher 200P Dobsonian Telescope

This week we are unboxing and building a Sky Watcher Classic 200P Dobsonian Telescope.
This Newtonian reflector telescope has an 8 Inch/200 Millimetre aperture.

Great video, cheers mate. I'm trying to decide between this one and the Bresser messier 8, not easy!

Hi Steve W, Firstly thanks for watching and commenting. I don't know about the Bresser messier 8, though it does look like a very well put together piece of kit. It looks like its easier to use it with an equatorial mount, though I have seen people do that with the Sky Watcher as well. For me it was down to availability, a lot of these sites say contact for availability, but then when you do contact them they don't carry stock so you have a waiting time. I found the Sky-watcher on the FirstLightOptics.com, loads in stock for £369 and arrived within a couple of days. All I can say is that Im very happy with it, solid construction and good quality mirrors.
