My dear Ghanian brothers, sisters and Africans in diaspora, let me make this simple for you all as a Nigerian and a fellow African. There was an awakening that started in the late 2000 about the world becoming a global stage for all to feature, which gave birth to the current globalization of the African music experience that we are experiencing right now in Africa and the world at large, which everyone is now scrambling for a fair share of this movement and the benefit that comes with it. What we did as Nigerians is that we looked into our culture, our way of life and our story telling ability which is embedded in our Africanisms knowing fully that we cannot be like anyone else on the global stage of music but ourselves as Africans. So, we took advantage of our sounds and started experimenting with new tech in music fusions and WE EVOLVED and made progress with the understanding of what type of sound the world at large wants hear, listen and enjoy when it comes to African music. So, what we’ve done with the Nigerian Music is called differentiation. This understanding is what has paved this pathway for us and it came with a lot of hard work, Sacrifice and orderly thinking that has birth new ground breaking sounds that bridge cultures on a global scale. Simple! We are still working hard at it; we’re not going to stop but continue to make progress with new learnings, because we’ve learnt a lot along the way. So, there’s still more to do and learn from. PLEASE START YOUR JOURNEY AND STOP THE CRITICISMS. Stop feeling entitled and drowning yourselves in self-pity but look inward for every resource available to you and start refining, defining and put in the work progress awaits you on this journey. We move…....
I just stumbled across this Ghanaian channel. Now, this is some creativity here. This is what Ghanaian musicians need to implement. You need to come different and implement in a creative way than thinking Nigerians are the problem.
You come on to a Ghanaian platform to insult Ghanaians and wn u get a reply you start crying saying they envy you. Fool. Where is the creativity in nigeria... is it the kidnapping or armed robbery or the fact that you people have 419 written in your constitution? Ghanaians are building their country with their creativity; Nigerians are moving to Ghana for better living. Who's is more creative?
Clearly there is no single intelligent person in nigeria... from your president to ordinary folks like you. Shatta makes his personal comment towards his colleague musicians. You come here and say Ghanaians are not creative bcos of that. Meanwhile it is Ghana that is educating a lot of Nigerians. You think life is about entertainment and fooling. Even in entertainment, Gh has always been on top until few decades ago. What unique was created by nigeria?
Herh chale you are a complete genius. I think doing cognitive analysis on issues outside Ghana will also help push our channel further more. By the way it's a suggestion . One love!!
You see the big man life Wizkid is living. He's the only one excluded from the frictions with the Ghanian artist because the guy really focus on his music than all these beefs or no beef.
Solid analysis code Micky. Please, I would prefer you to be communicating in English & pigin if you can because we are not Ghanians. That your analysis was second to None.
What a level of intelligence this is beyond creativity But someday somehow we gonna miss shata wale for always trying to defend ghana musically he does it alone all the time
Shatta is reckless. Creates stupid beefs leading to friction in the industry. Sark told shatta in the song advice they should focus on filling 02 in the Uk but guess what. Never changed. The Nigerians have done it and won Grammy awards. Now shatta is envious. Trying to destroy what Nigeria has. That evil spirit shatta has is so destructive. Among wizkid, shatta wale and Burna boy who all had features on Beyoncé album, its only shatta who hasn’t capitalized and gone international on the level that wizkid and burna have done. Wiz kids songs are being played in malls and on radio in the USA. Same with Burna boy and Davido.
This matter should be broaded beyond ghana and nigeria to other countries in Africa, currently there is a cry coming from east africa - especially kenya, that the media should reduce airplay for nigerian music, why? Because no east africa music is being played in any west africa countries while nigerian music has dominated the kenya air waves by a bigger petcentage. This action also affected Tanzanian music market because the two countries music has dominated the countries music industry for so long. So in order to have harmonious intergration among africans, west africa media must also promote music from other african countries because in east africa we also have big names in music industry like Diamond, Ali kiba, Sáuti sol, eddy kenzo, etc. 🇹🇿🇹🇿
In those countries,. I hope there's also a call to boycott American songs and other music from the West too if that's the case. You play those songs on your radios, download them, vibe to them yet you don't consider the American artistes as stumbling block to your music industry. Do these westerners play your songs on foreign radio stations or TV? Hypocrisy and envy at its highest! That's how xenophobic tendencies start
@@ndidiechefu2479 prob with Nigerians think other african countries have no world class musicians. For their information, we have musicians who can stand toe to toe with the likes of Davido, wizkid etc, infact Mr. Flavour was quoted at some interview in Lagos admitting to that. they have collected major awards like BET, AFFRIMMA etc, we must invent each other because at the end of the day its business for our artist and should go both ways and not only nigerians clinching lucrative show in East africa while our music is not even aired in Lagos, will never buy that and shatta has ignited the fire.🇹🇿🇹🇿
Y'all get it wrong. Nigerians love other African music as well. Why is Amapiano trending in Nigeria currently? Who's playing it? It is Nigerians. How did we get to know Diamond Platinum? (a superstar in his own right). It's simple, he did the work, marketed his works and got introduced thru his colab with Davido. Since then he's done stuff with practically all Nigerian A Listers and is well known. But he has his core audience and does more of East African music. (Nothing wrong with that) My point is that this is 2022. It is the digital age. Radio, tv stations and even DJ's don't determine what we vibe these days. The internet does. The media latches on to what people listen to on the net else you're left behind. Practically all Sub Saharan Africa countries Apple music top 40 is dominated by Nigerians why?. Yet our musicians don't even tour most of them. It's the internet. You cannot dictate what the young star's listen to bcos they don't listen to Radios/TV's. DJ's must play what people are listening to. Our artist's make good songs that other's can relate, promote their songs well too. Unfortunately we have too many good artist's in Nigeria that sometimes it looks like we don't want other's. No. We just so many. Jerusalema trended worldwide. It didn't need any promoting. If your song is catchie and good, it will go far. We vibe to other sounds. The South Africans are collaborating and promoting their Amapiano in Nigeria and it's trending. The petty jealousy's and envy against Nigeria is uncalled for. It's not fair. Making good music that resonate well for other's is no crime. If you need the Naija market, do the needful. Come down to Nigeria and promote your work. Don't stsy in ur country and expect Nigerians to promote your work for you. Flavour goes to Kenya a lot. Why? Promotion.
Eddy Kenzo, Alikibi, Saut Sol and Diamond Platinum are all fantastic musician's. Unfortunately among all of them it's not by accident that West Africans only really could recognize Diamond Platinum. The rest are contented being East African Superstars. Nothing wrong with it, except that don't blame Nigerians when your acts are not doing so well outside EA. Music is entertainment and also business. It is not an exchange cultural program where each country must play each other's sounds. If you need our Market, pls do the work. You might have the best songs, but if it's not marketed, it remains just a backyard song.
Music is universal and no countries needs to deliberately promote each other's music for recognition. Good music promote itself. Especially in this day of internet and musicians themselves should do follow-up by going to countries to be in the face of their audience and put a face to their music.
Herh don't go there😂 The song Shatta did to reply Sark's Advice song, if Shatta had released it like it won't be good for sark... ask sammy flex or bulldog. Shatta wale can go all-out dirty but sark can't because of how he has positioned his branding. It was industry people that stopped Shatta from releasing that song like it won't be good; like I said earlier.
Bro! Good job on the drills! Shatta is a history of Beafs! Thus, a cursed 'Looser' brought upon himself, any day. He is a self centered only, manipulator.
