Dry house air is the result of moisture density that is supposed to get captured. I don't get the joke. It's quite different what Miko was doing. Miko thought you just don't need water period. Korone was suggesting that the water the dehumidifier extracts could be used for the humidifier. It's intuitivly an easy assumption to make.
But also if you think about it for 5 seconds, you realize that taking water out of the air then putting it back in is like trying to make a dirt mound by putting the dirt back in the hole each time you shovel.
Miko says so in this clip that her humidifier has the purifier function too and (not included in this clip but on the original stream) suggested that because her humidifier has a purifier function too, it gets moisture in the air and uses that to humidify, the very same thing Korone believed and said to Okayu(thus not adding any water to her humidifier too).
