A coworker gave my husband a small hoya carnosa about fifteen years ago. It's nice and big now, and has tolerated several moves and the neglect all our plants suffered during our baby years. It's even fallen a few times. It's about as far from a diva as you could get. One of my favorite plants!
I actually have two Hoya Carnosa, both are the green variety, and each one is so different, one has more speckles but not like the speckled version, which I would love to find. One of them is over 25 years old and it had some ends break off and I plunked it in water and it rooted up so quickly that now I will have a whole other plant with three trails. The green Carnosa was the hardest one for me to find my area.
Really? It’s almost always in my local nursery, and there are cuttings at almost every plant swap here. 🤷🏻♀️
