+Aris Stolz I'll consider it, although, most flourishes are difficult for everyone, not just beginners. It's the amount of time you put in that makes it look easy, if you showed me a flourish I was unfamiliar with, it would be hard for me to do at first just like everyone else. Cheers.
Chris, I really love the originality of this move, and you do a good job of explaining the moves, but I think it would be more helpful if you primarily shot the video in an "over the shoulder" view, and included a smaller segment of front view at the end. Not being too big of a flourisher myself, it's harder to visualize the moves mirrored and reversed to know if I'm getting each step right. Keep it up, I love your stuff!
I just nailed it for the first time after multiple attempts to learning this flourish over the past year and now I feel like I can archieve ANYTHING. It has alwas been Chris' undoable cut to me and after a good year of practicing cardistry I finally did it. So proud. Now I need to get it nice and fluent... :D
awesome flourish! its a pretty hard one but if you watch the difficult parts over and over again you will be able to understand what's going on. I've tried to learn this a couple of months ago for the first time and I failed... now I know a bit more about flourishing and it worked;) don't get desperate if you fail! just wait a little while and you will be able to learn it! thanks so much for this good work Chris Ramsay!
This is insane! The explanation is just fine for me (after rewinding like 20 times at the same points I finally got it, but that's how it has to be). Now the rest is just practice!
u make it look easy im learning all of your tutorial well not yet and im just 14 years old and ur the best person to explain everything behind the scence
Hey Chris, insane flourish, really gonna practice this one. For feedback, I'd say you should start with the "over the shoulder" view first, because it's easier for us to figure out finger placement if the camera is showing the same angle we're seeing. Also, you might want to consider using video editing to highlight certain fingers so that its easier for you to explain movements without breaking the flow of the tutorial. Kind of like [ ua-cam.com/video/Ga-HfQ7f4xY/v-deo.html ] but not as slow paced. Overall, great tutorial, great flourish, keep it up Chris!
soooo for those who just watched this video chris showed a flourish like 1 week ago which is called lindholm. i personally learned this flourish and just came across this beautiful flourish from like 2 years ago. i believe that if you learn lindholm first this thing becomes waaaay easier because they have many moves in common.
really like this flourish but I agree with everyone. learning from an over the shoulder view is much easier and saying which finger is contacting which packet is really helpful. it's hard to know which and where you're referring to when there's multiple packets going on. Love your work though!
Nutty flourish, fairly simple as far as cardistry goes, but very very impressive and a well done tutorial. Really enjoyed this one. However, the only small thing I might recommend is a mirrored view for me and my fellow lefties out there haha.
I am right now. It is coming along well. I will say maybe if you showed what each individual hand was doing it would have helped more, but still I love everything you have put out and this is no exception.
I really loved the flourish and I liked the video the only thing I would say is maybe link to the thing that they have to know how to do so that you know they are learning the best thing and the best way. Hope you have a great day thanks for reading this.
Chris i suggest you film it from your shoulder, because its kind of hard to catch up from the other view you know what I'm saying? because I'm having trouble to learn the moves from opposite side, its just a suggestion but keep up the good work you are a really cool magician!!!! thank you!
AMAZING as always +ChrisRamsey! Ur def an inspiration to me. I started trying card magic at MY age cuz of u. Any way for a vid on creating some homemade gaff cards. U had pointed out that u were making some in your card collection vid. Jus curious if u might b able to let us in on jus a couple of ideas.
+Chris Ramsay This flourish amazed me from the day you launched the trailer....almost 8-9 months ago? It looks pretty complex as the song says too but after a couple rewinds I actually got it and it isn't really that complex. I do get a little messy with the different packs but with time everything will go to its proper place. Keep up your work man you are not talented...YOU ARE GIFTED
I'm learning it right now lol,, been waiting for this for a while 👍,,, could you do more over the shoulder tips please,,, it's a bit to speedy i think,,, a more over the shoulder explanation would be better,,, thanks for the tutorial though it looks just awesome :-),, I'll definitely be learning this one,, PEACE
I started cardistry about 1½ month ago and now I see this... let's see if I can learn it ^^ Edit: Note to myself: Don't overestimate the difficulty of a flourish! Not even if it looks like this one xD
Yes, Have to agree w. the others. You're a talented street magician, and your original flourish EPIDURAL is nice, but it really needs to be shotOVER THE SHOULDER&MUCH CLOSER (ideally there should bealmost zero empty space on all 4sides - up, down, right & left ... Why don't you simply re-shoot it? Otherwise, thanks for NOT havingannoyingly LOUD BG music that so manyguys put insert in their tutorials, and also, for actually talking to us for the explanation, - insteadof "letting the visuals do everything". oh, and also for NOT using a freakinghand held camera like 99% of other Cardistry guys do. p.s. you have a really good, calmspeaking voice & manner about you.thumbs up & I'm subscribing.
Hey Chris! I have a question. My english is not perfect, but hopefully you can help me. Since may (this year) I tried to become better with cards. I am “right handed“ and I hold the deck in my right hand. Is this a problem?
I'm tring, I've already got everything except the part when you split that pack in two to create a gap... ITS KILLING ME, everytime I try that, the whole pack goes to one side or another.. How can you do that so easily and fast :(
yo not to say that this tutorial is bad but could you do a redo for the slower ones such as myself? cuz i can't seem to wrap my head around the grips and the finger placements...
Hey people, if you think the tutorial is too fast you can always play the part you're having trouble with at a slowed down speed, just click on the gear icon in the lower right and change the speed setting...
Who's learning this right now?
Me from Italy!
+Chris Ramsay Just started.
+Chris Ramsay Started right now!
+Aris Stolz I'll consider it, although, most flourishes are difficult for everyone, not just beginners. It's the amount of time you put in that makes it look easy, if you showed me a flourish I was unfamiliar with, it would be hard for me to do at first just like everyone else. Cheers.
+Chris Ramsay Chris can u say "Buongiorno" in your next video?
Greetings from Italy
The trailer song about sums up what I thought during the flourish

I agree! More POV, it's way easier that way! :)

The explanation is just fine for me (after rewinding like 20 times at the same points I finally got it, but that's how it has to be). Now the rest is just practice!
u make it look easy
im learning all of your tutorial well not yet and im just 14 years old and ur the best person to explain everything behind the scence

This flourish is like a variation of the lindholm flourish

New record! It only took me 10 minutes to throw my phone at a brick wall!
Neither the finger placement and movement
I re watched some bits it like 30 times but i know got it, I just need to go practice
And chris says he is bad at cardistey😂😂😂
Hey Chris!
I have a question. My english is not perfect, but hopefully you can help me.
Since may (this year) I tried to become better with cards.
I am “right handed“ and I hold the deck in my right hand. Is this a problem?
Nice
Chris did u create this flourish? :O
I'm tring, I've already got everything except the part when you split that pack in two to create a gap... ITS KILLING ME, everytime I try that, the whole pack goes to one side or another.. How can you do that so easily and fast :(
