Your channel deserves to take off. No nonsense tutorials and advice. Loving the content, Ian 👏🏻👍🏻
I appreciate that Paul. Good luck with your drone journey
I love how you show the sticks, appreciate that!
Thanks, hope it helps
Thank you so much I just bought my DJI Mini 3 Pro yesterday
Glad I could help! Enjoy your new drone
Nice, keep going bro
Thank you, I will!
Great video my friend have a great day and a very big greeting from Colombia 😀😀😀
Thank you! You too!
Nice work, Ian! Very informative. Looking forward to your next video!
Thanks Randy, glad it was useful
Well done! Great shots, great tips!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Regarding the satnav and Wales (11.23)... that mountain it tries to take you over I ended up nicknaming 'Murder Mountain'. I did a series of shoots at Portmeirion and ended up being herded over that route three times. No snow for me (phew!) but there was pea-soup fog and kamikaze sheep.
It’s pretty scary how quickly it creeps up on you!
Those are all great shots Ian, thank you. Like # 10!!!
Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you. This is valuable info. 👍
Glad you think so!

Cheers Steve, your footage looks ace. Well done choosing an original topic too
@Ian Anderson Thank you Ian.
Great Tipps Ian 👍

Informative as always 👍🏾
Appreciate that
Hey, great video. Enjoyed the content and the presentation.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for your teaching about the art of cinematography. I was wondering if you are ever using that new P.O.I. manipulation trick to shoot some of those beautiful shots.
Thanks for the kind comment. Not as far as I’m aware but I will research if it’s worth trying. I film all my orbits manually
@@Ian.A.Anderson I explained the mechanic in my last upload 🙂 would be super to know your opinion.
Very well done! Great shots, great tips and production value.
@@WaddleAero thank you, glad you liked it
I was looking for mini 3 Pro footage before buying one and come across a youtuber from where I'm from chances on that 😂
You’re from Chester?😆
From North Wales, its a hidden gem here all your footage from north looks beautiful
@@aledld Thanks, yes I'm meaning to eventually put all my footage from Wales into one cinematic edit
Say Ian, I know this is totally unrelated to the subject at hand but I desperately need your help. I just shot my first video with my new DJI Mini 3 Pro today, and when I played the videos back they had what appeared to be either GPS parameters or telemetry displayed across the entire screen. This makes the videos unusable. Is there some kind of setting turned on that I'm unaware of or something? I've never seen this with any of my other before, including my Mavic Air 2. I'd really appreciate some help with figuring out how to get rid of this and I thought I'd turn to you for some help.
Thanks in advance,
Eric
Hi it can be a bit of a fiddle, but easy when you know how. Firstly if the GPS screen has gone massive, double tap to reduce it. Then to minimise it further click in the bottom left corner to toggle size options. Thanks, Ian
@@Ian.A.Anderson Thanks Ian. I did manage to figure out that it was the subtitles function that had been turned on. I just disabled it and that solved my problem. I did notice that prior to figuring out the issue the video software showed two files for each video, one of which was an SRT file. I wander if I had simply deleted those SRT files if that would have also solved my problem. I may experiment with that later.
Can I ask how you managed to permission to fly over river Thames and central Birmingham in some of your clips?
Use a sub 250g drone and you need to contact the port of London to tell flying times. Birmingham you need to make sure you’re in a fly zone
Thanks Ian, I really like your straightforward approach & keeping it simple. I have used all these moves with my various drones before, but perhaps not on the right subjects & not with the same finesse but that comes with practice I'm sure. I agree with your comments about the gimbal movement, many times I have tried to fly over a subject & gimbal down at that same time, I find it very difficult to keep it all smooth. Thanks again, you gained a new follower with this one. I would appreciate some feedback on my videos explaining how I could have done it better. Because I know I still have a lot to learn. 🦘😎👍
Hi, thank you. There are lots of nice shots on your channel. A few of the moves could be a bit smoother, but generally pretty good.
I think the main way to improve is a phrase in filming called 'kill your babies'. You can do this by either choosing shorter music to edit to or by having more locations, different times of day etc. in the same 3 minute music piece. This will create more variety, keeping the audience guessing.
As you say, also just keep persisting and practicing, following the right educational content and it will steadily improve.
Hope that helps, I'm going to go into more detail on the kill your babies topic, in an upcoming Scotland vlog. It should be posted on 9th April
Ian, thanks for the incredible trips! As a beginner, I am looking for ways to improve my drone footage and this is "SPOT" on. Just a side note, the link for Steve (above) does not work. David's does.
Thanks again, Subscribed and looking forward to watching more of your new videos. (LOL currently watching the others you have posted)
David
Thanks again David. And also for pointing out the broken link for Steve. I’ve updated it now so it should work 🤞
