Try these drone moves in your next video! ua-cam.com/video/gZpPlSWyieo/v-deo.html
people selling these information on online courses but Jeven is telling to us like a brother and teaching us free. Respect you Jeven. Thank you a lot.
Just want to say a massive THANK YOU, as a new drone operator with little to no photography experience, your videos are by far the best content I've found for learning!
As a new pilot with no real photography background, this has been a great educational video. Thank you!
Most drones have many of these settings. The setup process would work for most drones, and is a great idea.
That is probably the best explanation of camera settings I have ever viewed, especially the motion blur and ND filters aspects
Just bought my Mini 3 Pro (after so much disappointment with a GoPro Karma) and I love it. Yours is by far and away the best content for this camera. I'll be watching everything. Thanks so much !
I agree for 30fps for social media. Most screens are divisible by 30fps, where 24fps on a phone or 60 hz monitor will have a weird jitter. i found making your timeline 30fps, and making your content in 30, 60, or 120 all works the smoothest together in a 30fps timeline. My drone shots used to be 24 fps and they never played well on youtube or instagram.
24fps is Hollywood Cinematic standard, why wouldn't you aim for that frame rate. That is my dilema. 25fps is the country standard where I come from.
Thanks for this comment, it´s the main reason I landed on this video!
Been absolutely loving these videos. Picked up a mini 3 for my first drone and have been having a blast getting to use it and learn how to fly.
That last part really gave me chills and a bazillion ideas on how I want to create my story and document my journey
I rarely comment on videos but I just want to say that this is one of the best things I have seen in a long time. I understand photography and videography to a certain degree - probably better than most people that are not big into it - but everything you state here is relevant. Also Your eye for the cinematography element is insane. I always find this harder than getting balances of ISO, balance etc. much more difficult to achieve. The final part of your video where you put it all together is beautiful. Thank you for posting this. I hope more people get inspired by your very easy to understand descriptions of what you are doing and why.
Hey , Jeven ...
Love your video and also appreciate your work 💯 . Thanks for sharing
I am new to drones, video and photography and thanks to your tips and tricks I'm getting quite good footages even without decent editing (just Capcut so far).
Thanks a lot for this!
Thank you so much this was super helpful! Currently going to Mammoth and my video has not been working because it was to bright but now I know thank you again!!
These are good tips for a beginner and reminders for a pro! You kinda glossed over the part of moat interest to me which are the Gimbal and Exp settings
It really comes down to preference for those. I showed what you can change and from there it takes testing and playing with the settings to find what is best for you
@@JevenDovey true but beginner has no such experience. Only folks like us.
Thanks bro finally someone who isn't posting malware or fake stuff, you deserve my subscribe!
What an absolute gem of a tutorial! I've just ordered a Mini 3 Pro (because I crashed and lost my mini 3 at the weekend after just 2 weeks of ownership!) and cannot wait to try what i've learnt from this video. Thank you for making such a great video
You got money money
@@justanotheryoutuber5228 actually I managed to claim on my home insurance!
So insightful for a N00B. Thanks man!
One can be Superman 🦸♂️ or Superwoman 🦸♀️ and not leave the ground - the ideal experience that I'm looking forward to having one day soon flying with my drone like a kid in a candy store!
This is the best video ive ever watched trying to learn photography or video creating. thank you!
Best video I watch so far. Thanks, Jeven for sharing your tips and knowledge.
Great hints! Just waiting for ND filters delivery for my Mini 2 👍
I never committed, but I wanted you to know, that I got a lot out of your video today. Thank you I appreciate it.
Hey I have just purchased a Mini 3 Pro and so far loving it. Have been watching your tutorials on this drone and have noticed there has been an update and the advanced gimble settings has been linked with the exposure settings. I was just wondering if you have plans to update your tutorial to cover this new up date. Cheers
Good Tips with detailed explanation.....Thank you Jeven !!
This video is incredible. I have never seen something described so well.
best instructor ever , so clear. wish you all the best
This is a great video man. Some of the information I was aware off, but this video bundles all that with new stuff into a complete package. Thank you for putting in the work, highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot for you tips an pro videos. Greetimgs from Switzerland

Thank you so much. I'm new to all these settings and drone. And now I'm learning alot from your videos
Very good video, been trying to convince my friend to tune his mini 2 for smoother video but he doesn't care or understand the importance, great video, I learned alot.
awesome explanation. Very clear and keep up the super work
Great job, Jeven! So many tips packed into this one. Thank you!
An exceptional tutorial Jeven. I've been following you for a few years now when I bought my Mavic 2 Pro. Will be upgrading soon to the Mini 3 Pro and adopting many of your tips.
Cheers and thanks from Montréal. :-)
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Awesome video. The best explaination of every settings. You are the best. Please do tell about the ND filters you used for mini 3 pro - its price and from where we can get it
If you shoot at 60 fps and you are not going to make it a slow motion video, then you should use the shutter speed of 1/60. Gerald Undone has made a great example video of this. Search for gerald undone motion blur
If you're not going to slow down your footage then you should shoot at 30 or 24 fps. Less data and you get the benefit of HQ mode
@@JevenDovey well it depends what you are shooting. For fast action sports 60 fps is often better. What is HQ mode?
By the way, the correct white balance for midday is 6500 K
@@JevenDovey I almost always shoot 60 fps with the exposure of 1/60. The reason for that is that I can either simply drop every other frame for 30 fps timeline or make a slow motion. Of course in some fast moving scenes there will be too much motion blur but for many other shots it's perfectly fine to make it slower
What should it be if I want the image as clear as I can when I pause the video? I don’t really care about fancy filming more so just decent looks and explorations
@@jonnanieminen8848 I’ve always shot at 5600 for middle day sun and footage looks great. I think your thinking if it’s cloudy out buddy :)
To be honest, this is the most understandable teaching for cross-border merchants I have ever seen. Have to say hope can work for free incompetent is online or offline. Learn your video commentary dictation skills. As a divorced man with two children. Need an opportunity to let yourself have enough independent ability to complete some responsibilities. After the business failed, I have been looking for a direction of effort that is within my own affordability in terms of time and investment. However, because the resources related to this industry around me are too small, I have been in a state of self-study, and many ideas will always circle in an endless loop without guidance. I have done a lot of materials and study plans, but I lost my sense of direction and returned to the original starting point. No sense of direction and how to choose. Please give me a helping hand, I will go through fire and water for you.
Thank you for this. It has answered many of my questions about why my footage has been rather.... crappy. I only have the original mavic mini right now, as I just started this hobby, but I am looking forward to purchasing a mini 3 soon. Now if you will excuse me, I have a few more of your videos to watch.
Great video Jeven! Greetings from Guatemala!
bro you're amazing. thanks for all of those informations . you explain them so simply . well done !
Thanks a lot man, that was very helpful and I can imagine it would be useful to people of all kinds of skill level (me - rookie with a drone, pretty advanced with cameras).
I can totally relate to that parenting vs sunrise/sunset part!
Jeven Dovey is the Hero we needed!
Great video and thank you for sharing. For a beginner like me it is very useful! 👍
Thanks for your high quality information - easy to follow:)
F1.7 = a very shallow depth of field in front of and behind the image so you will always get motion blur or bokeh regardless of shutter speed or iso.
Nice and instructive as all your videos, THX!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video, just got my mini 3, going to use this
Absolute fantastic...tonne of info and really useful! Thank you 😉
Thanks for the great tips & tricks. Being new to drones and action cam's it's a been a big learning curve. Practice, practice, practice is all I can say. It's not perfect overnight but the more you go out and find different locations to fly and try the better you will get.
GREAT EXPLANATIONS BRAW!!!!!!!
You are doing a great job.
Hello Jeven. Thank you for the excellent video on tips and tricks for shooting drone videos and images. Yes, the ole photography triangle solution. This was a perfect reminder to get out of auto mode and use the camera setting as they should be used. I always enjoy your filming at the Rock Monument since I'm not far from there in the neighboring harbor town. In fact, I went to the High School just down the street long before the buildout. Again, thank you for this helpful video that every drone pilot can use regardless of your drone. Take Care!
Awesome vid, really helped me understand as a beginner
cool man good content! Just got one gonna make videos on the DJI 3 Mini Pro
Jeven we need you at 1 million subscribers 🔥
This video was very helpful 🙏🏿
Great video, well explained information. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! Which ND filters do you use with your mini 3?
Great job Jeven! Thank you so much for your videos! You are really the best!
Killer video as always Jeven!
bro.thanks a lot. you are supermen.
Welcome 👍
Question, if I select a shutter speed x2 of frame rate to get that lovely cinematic motion blur. How does speeding up the video in post in Premiere Pro affect the motion blur? which I sometimes do. Thanks, great content as always
Brilliant and informative. Good work.
Great expectations thank you sir 😁😁😁
Great Video, much appreciated
Thank you so much for sharing your tips to people like myself who are now just learning about aerial drone videography. I have loved photography for many years and I can see that a lot of the techniques that I've used before also pertains to videography. After all, it's still a camera but with propellers. I can't wait to capture great footage soon! Cheers!
Great Video Thanks for all the tips! Keep up the awesome content
Great video and very thorough! Thank you so much Jeven solid work!
Great info and super tips....! Thanx

BIG LOVE FROM IRAN
Salam brother, Esfahan is my favorite city (Shiraz second).
Thanks
Thank you for making so much great content on the Mini Pro 3! I have a question, I don't have the "Advanced Gimbal Setting" on my RC Remote for some reason and everything has been updated as of yesterday when unpackaged and registered. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Same here
You probably found the settings already but for those who haven't, they can be found in "Gain & Expo Tuning" just above.
Thanks!
Really appreciate the work and the helpful advice!!
Nice one Jeven. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the info.
Brother kindly tell us the back pack you use, looks so cool and practical

Dji mini2 is different or same?
Great tutorial!
Great video! Thanks a lot :)
A big thank you, very informative and well articulated!
btw, what will be your suggestion for WB range setting for low light conditions?
Very nice! Thank you. 😃👍
Greetings from Turkey. Thanks for the nice explanation. I also publish the shots I made with DJI MINI 3 PRO on my channel. I got some of my questions answered in this video.
As some have said the new gain & expo settings change the complete selections of your cinematic movement section, any chance there will ever be an update?
Great video, one question: Do you Color correct the footage with some lut or just add saturation and contrast?
Yes I color graded my footage. Here's my guide for color grading: skl.sh/3s2jqYb
@@JevenDovey but it’s not specific to the drone right? I was asking more about the drone
Fantastic video. Thank you. I have an SD card in my drone but my recordings seem to want to use the small internal storage. How do I get drone sd card to store footage as at the moment its not recording anything? Thank you
great
How come the you didn’t use the remote control when walking at the end? I’ve always been afraid of using a drone because it’d look so unnatural when the drone’s following you, and there’s a dude with a radio control box.
Do these things not require you to use a remote or something?
Nice video, thanks.
