Yes it is ! Fun to play with.I know you also like to experiment around with all kind of nests. Saw your Christmas Specia l- great idea.....put me on the performance list for this year. btw I have a funny christmas special too, hope you watch it
I know this problem. Especially my big Pheidole colony love the water resavoir right inside the nest. I wait until it is empty and the ants loose interest. Then you have to be quick :) I got myself a spare "quicklocktube" wich I fill up and then I do a quick exchange. If you let it dry out make shure the ants have some moist elsewhere.Maybe kondensation on the nest glas will be OK. This is how I deal with it.Maybe someone has a better idea.
@@m.andants3468 thanks for the reply, my problem now is my colony is small and they have chosen to nest inside the drinking area instead of under the red nest chambers, even though I inject that part with water
@@SuperMagicNinjaBunny Just let them, I think they move into the moistchamber when the watertube is empty.Let them decide what is best. You could try to turn the nest that the chamber is at the place where the tube is now.Ants like to put the brood where it is warmer, even if it is unrecognizable for us. What species is it?Do you have brood?
Hi, thanks so much for this video, very helpful, I'm looking forward to checking out your other videos. 1 query though that you may be able to help me with, the vertical test tubes of water that screw into the nest, do they need cotton in the bottom? It would just flood without surely? Wakooshi don't really make this clear unfortunately. Thanks :)
Thank you for the positiv feerback. I have 3 of these tubes in use for many month and have no problems without any cotton wool for big and small ants. It is working realy good. But when you change it to refill ,the nest is open.I have a spare tube wich I fill up first and exchage it quick..It helps to let it dry out before the refill so the ants loose interest
Dude this is so cool!

As a complete beginner this was super helpfull.
Just got an s3 and now I’m waiting for 5 workers to emerge before connecting the test tube to it but love the design and quality from wakooshi
Yes, it looks cool and works fine
Great! I just ordered some Wakooshi products and your video really helped! Im awaiting my L. Flavus colony right now!
my wakooshi order arrived recently, do you know how to refill the water towers without it being open for ants to escape?

What’s that old nest you have? Looks great also
You mean the Sim Ants nest? Just check Sim Ants de
really cool system, yet so confusing :D
Yes at the first sight, because you have so many options. But pretty easy once you know how it works
also what is the purpose of that openable lid on the s5 nest?
If you raise a colony without an outworld you can use it as a stand alone nest and have simple acsess to the nest
