I’m going to try to make it with Einkorn flour. 😊
Thank you so much. I got a book for Christmas on making GF sourdough, but it's difficult to do by following a book. This is great.
I love Grow Family Network on You Tube. Those cute kids gardening.😊
So so so glad to find your channel 💗! All the gluten free good stuff from a homestead perspective! Thank you 😁💜🔥
You are so welcome!
Lovely crunch. Will definitely try your recipe thank you
Hope you enjoy
Thanks for this. I tried other programs but the size of the bread makes sense for a beginner. My first loaves were horrible. I like that you don't have a ton of steps, and that you do not have too many fancy pans. Good for a starter. Some people pull and fold their bread for bigger holes. Going to try the Xanthan gum. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing this gluten free sourdough bread recipe! I’ll try it as soon as my starter is ready. Just found your brown rice flour sourdough starter video today & prepared it. I’m so excited! 🤩
Cee, im glad you found me :) Let me know how it works for you!
looks good a must try
Absolutely try it!

You’ve removed a lot of my nervousness to making gluten free sourdough bread.
I’m a new subscriber, thanks for sharing your recipe and knowledge about gluten free bread baking.
That smaller loaf would be perfect to make a couple of small loaves for turning into bread bowls for soup or stew.
Oh that’s a wonderful idea!
I love your clear directions and needed explanations. Where can I find the written recipe?
I'll publish it to my blog and put it in the description. Thank you!
I bet some seeds in this would a tasty addition!
Can I use this recipe with other flours?
Can you share your blog link please?
I love your channel. Ty for sharing.
Hi, yes you can use any gluten free flour mix, the blog link is in the description box of this video. Enjoy!
Well explained in simple language thank you. I hope your mix of flours (measurements) are on your blog where I’m heading to now. Thank you so much
I love that your loaves are small. For just 2 people, it's great to have fresh bread every couple of days. Can you freeze the bread after it's baked and cooled?
Yes, you can freeze once it's completely cool. I'd slice then freeze it.
Please say if I can replace the xantham gum? Maybe flax/linseed seed, or not?
Thank you for your wonderful gluten free sourdough video and this sourdough bread. You have inspired me to finally have a go making the gluten free sordough bread 🙂
I haven't tried without the xanthan gum but you should give it a try and let me know how it goes. Thank you!
Thank you! I'm excited to try this but I'm wondering what gf flour mix you use. Also, have you ever tried millet flour?
No I haven't tried millet. I make my own flour mix for this one, you want an all purpose flour mix, most work well here.
Great video! How much psyllium fibre would I use instead of xanthan gum?
2 tbs
Stream off Lake Erie! We're practically neighbors! :)
Hey neighbor!
How do you wild yeast??
Just how I show you. It builds as the flour ferments naturally
Can you make something with your lard?
Sure!
Oh so you add extra xantham gum? Also can you the bobs 1:1 gluten free blend?
yes you can, and yes add extra xanthan gum
Why don’t the links work to your blog or website?
It’s working please try again
I like this video but you could use the recipe in the description because it's not easy to pause and play a video to make a recipe.... so I almost forgot the second part of cooking it in the oven at a lower temperature... first batch not so good. Hopefully second batch is
Ok thank you. Ill post in on my blog and link to it also
Can you make it egg free? Or is the egg really necessary?
The egg is pretty necessary and heathy too
Is it baked at 500 Fahrenheit
For the first 15 mins bake at 500 then turn it down to 450 for 40 minutes
@@HillsideHomesteading Thank you for your recipe. I am believe this is 500 degrees Farenheit that the bread is started baking at.
You are beautiful ! ✨
Thank you!!
Where is the recipe?
In the video
I've read many articles about xanthan gum been very bad for the gut.
You can leave it out or replace it with psyllium
