I like Konta's game. I think she just needs to be more pinpoint when going down the line and hit closer to the line as the ball often is going too central allowing her opponent another strike. She needs to finish them off then. She's hitting well though

Woz has good control n so calm in grass. I think her run in Wimbledon will going to 2nd week
Something is just off with Konta's game, her foot stance seems so wind and she seems like she's always lunging verses taking those tiny adjustment steps, and she seems so intense and in edge very weird
when she hits a winner she has a little skip in her step
I agree, the difference in this match was Carolyn is a sprinter to every ball. Konta appears just as fast, with just a slight hold in her step, not sure if it's nerves. Both women are lovely ladies; maybe it's mental....?🎾
Kontas game and vibe just doesn't have that same oomph and steeliness she had last year. But bts GREAT video from @WTA. Perfect length. Not too long but not too short. Captures get moments and still portrays the narrative and the drama that for us who didn't see the match, still get excitement. And no thumbnail of the winner. Awesome. Keep it up please

She'll probably get run over by a heavy hitter at Wimby, she's never even been past the fourth round there. Petra beat her like 6-1, 6-0 one year. She just doesn't have quite enough power for grass.

To be fair to her, if an umpire made mistakes on the matchpoints serena was down in the grand slams she ended up winning(99 US open 03 aus open 05 aus open 09 wimbledon) she would be three slams away from graf. Although serena is already a legend, the difference between being one of the greats and being the greatest based on slam count is huge for any tennis players legacy. Umpire do make decisions that affect players lives.

That the WTA is supposedly putting up highlight videos of most players but neglecting to put up videos of Barty despite her being the 8th seed. I just pointed out that higher ranked players also didnt get highlight videos so this isn't some anti-Barty organization.
