I find it interesting that you listed "no suction cup" as a con - for me, that's a pro. I was looking for a camera without a suction cup, as they fall off too often (especially with the temperature swings in the Midwest).
You are absolutely correct, however, the reason why I like the suction cup as an option is that when I use a rental in another state I like to bring this along. I flew out of state and brought my old dash cam and used the suction cup because it's easy on and off. The old dash cam was a little grainy and had less feature, but it did the job. I guess it really depends on you if you want a permanent fixture.
OK, this is 4 years ago and I was hoping that I might be able to learn how to alter the time zone. Currently mine is seven hours ahead; date is fine. Unfortunately this didn't seem to be covered in the settings and the narrator spoke far too quickly and without clarity to be understood, particularly with the unnecessary background "music". Disappointed

Does this have built in GPS Wi-Fi as others have separate component.
