I like the idea of using lightning storm but I'm curious as to how it performs on hier tiers 60+ because at lvl85 tier 43 NM dungeons are almost as easy as a basic WT4 dungeon
I've had a ton of luck with 60+ personally. I'm able to fully carry 1-2 people damage wise, the only issue being survivability. Currently testing a few things to work that out and I think it'll be golden. :^)
I actually haven’t seen a natures fury lightning storm build. I honestly think tapping lightning storm with natures fury will solve single target damage issues.
Also how does the glove aspekt work, got it on my current build is from the ”codex” and its 10% chance to do 6700 damage, looking for a new one with higher % and damage, but al i find is like yesterday 17% 1700damage and 19% 2700 damage, so my question is, if the % goes up does the damage go down? Uppgrade a item yesterday with it before i extracted it and with 25 power uppgrade on a 812 item only incresed the damaga by 70. Im confused and havent found any solid info about it.
Do you mean Overcharged Aspect? Essentially, you have a chance on Lucky Hit to overcharge the mob, which kind of turns them into a conduit (for lack of a better term). They will periodically damage enemies around them for, in your case, 6,700 damage for 3 seconds. Mine are currently only a 10% chance to deal ~4,300 additional damage to surrounding enemies. I'm not sure how upgrading effects them as I didn't really pay attention to what they were before I did, but I would imagine that the damage would increase. I can only assume since I'm at 10% for ~4,300 and you were at 10% for 6,700 that the item power of the aspect you use somehow affects the amount of damage it deals.
@@-Witty yeah exactly That one, i know how it works but what are the scales for the actual damage, like i have had items that are sacred 600 power with 15% 4000 damage, then a ancestral 820 item with 10% and 1200 damage, so the item level does not Seem to do any difference here 😅 the one im using is from codec and should roll ”the lowest always” but its the most powerfull one i have had so far 😅 is it bugged maby or something, and as i Said uppgrading the item does nothing, the 820 ancestral one i uppgrade to Max in this case it become ”845” the % was the same and the damage only incresed by 70, one would feel like a higher level item should be higher damage but its not, al lower level ones i have found as low as power level 600 has had the highest damage 😅 so to sum it up, in this case item power does nothing to increse the damage, wich imo it should right? And yeah in my case, codex of power has Been the best one 😅
@@-Witty yeah its weird, i hope its something they fix becaus its a big chuck of my damage, olaying a stormclaw crone build now and its awesome, slashing away at insane attackspeed and tankiness and that overcharg slapps around like nuts in aoe 😅😅
I always appreciate people making content for my favourite class etc. However, It seems everytime I see this I see players playing on such low nightmare dungeons that it doesn't even show off if it's capable. I get it's not optimized or your gear isn't and you're not max level etc etc. But should be able to push another 20 tiers even at that level no?
@@rzGameDev I definitely agree with you! I am able to carry 1 person on tier 60s and kill just fine. The issue is that it doesn't look so great on video if I'm dying, even only once or twice. Being that I'm not fully optimized at all, and still able to kill level 114+ mobs at level 86.. I'd say it's definitely viable! Once I work out a few things defensively (a lot has already been modified on the d4builds planner), I think I'll be in tier 70s before level 90. I'm level 88 now, so we'll see! :^) Cheers for the comments. ♥
I personally have only dabbled in Sorc on D4. I look forward to playing one a lot more soon, but it was definitely fun in my experience! I would personally play this over a Sorc just because of the beefiness Druid provides. Sure, you can use immunes and such on a Sorc, but they aren't just part of the character and have cooldowns. I dunno. It's a preference thing at the end of the day. I hope you enjoy Sorc to the best of your ability regardless :^)
Would like to se it on higher teirs, at level 85 i was doing 60+ NM dungeons and was killing just as fast, so would like to se that level and se if its just as easy, fun to se if its Viable at that level also then i might try it 😁😁
It's definitely viable! Just probably better to swap out the body armor for something more defensive at that point. I was able to clear duo tier 60 but had a few issues with survivability at the time. A lot of it may have had to do with running Perfect Storm and a couple of Aspects I've since swapped out. The D4Builds link is up-to-date, but the video may not be for a few things. :^)
@@LoafyGoofy what u mean? Havent seen it on higher teir yet or i Missed it, if its viable Thats awesome becaus Thats more good builder, like can it do teir 100 like the other 3 endgame builds, havent seen that but would be cool if it can 😁
I'm sorry! To be fair, it's probably the Druid's best unique.. It's bound to be everywhere, unfortunately. Good news is that it's 'easier' to get now that Druids aren't getting Barbarian uniques :^)
The bug with the evade during channeling makes Lightning Storm the most frustrating gaming experience ever for me. Been using storm for a while and I can't even count how many times I died because of getting inexplicably stuck unable to move or use abilities............... anyone here who has it, please go report it, it's the only way they'll maybe ever fix it.
I have been wondering what caused that without ever thinking it might be evade. I'll definitely report it, thank you for commenting this, lmfao. I just kind of dumped my 4 evade charges and ran away whenever it happened. :^)
@@-Witty Np, yeah if you google, there are some reports about it already, but nowhere enough to make it stand out. Essentially if you evade while channeling, you'll be stuck for a full channel duration without being able to do any damage, cast, move or evade. There might be some other components or circumstances that need to happen but... it's what it boils down to.
Leveling up a lightning storm druid right now took me forever to figure out what was happening to my character when he would go into that fucking action lock quicksand mode lol Absolutely brutal
@@DoPtRiGGa 100%! I wasn't really concerned the first few times it happened, I just assumed it was some stupid crowd control. Then I realized it could happen with no mobs even around and figured it was a bug, lmfao. :^)
I respect it! I put it in the thumbnail, albeit hard to see, for that reason. I don't want anyone to feel baited hahah. It does also say endgame build, which is for the same purpose. I'm sorry! :^(
The difference is that a build can be used by anyone without reliance on a specific item. It focuses on skills and paragon. A build built around a unique item, is something that requires the item to be functional or viable, and not everyone is able to get it due to bad rng or other reason. RNG on uniques are not something the player wants to rely on. A unique should ENHANCE a build, not DEFINE it.
So you can absolutely play this build without the unique you just have to tweak the gear and skill tree a little bit, the chest would not work and a couple of other things like using the werewolf poison is not going to work. I didn't look at the paragon but would probably need to switch around some things there but yea, you can absolutely play lightning storm without the helmet.
As stated by @DoPtRiGGa, you can play this build without any uniques, but it is significantly better in my experience with them. It is labeled an endgame build for a reason and majority of the best builds in the game all but require a unique. They are part of the game and are not extremely uncommon to find. It's not like I'm saying it required a Harlequin Crest.. I know Tempest seems to be very hard to get for a lot of people, but the rates are better now that Druids aren't getting Barbarian unique drops anymore. Requiring a unique is not a deal breaker when it comes to a build being good.
