@@jc624100% agree that shipping real people is weird, I think that the reason why so many people do it is because they view streamers as if they're just characters in a story (streamers intentionally farming shipping & relationship content adds to this, I don't blame them because it brings engagement - just look at Esfand & Jinny's old stuff). It's like being heavily invested in a TV show or a book and noticing tiny details about the characters and their interactions, and theorizing about what's not shown.
I've seen fans ship people in almost every form of entertainment (even real people in case of celebrity gossip/paparazzi); the only toxic part about shipping streamers which is different from other forms of media is that certain obsessive fans end up harrassing the streamers in chat or on social media and end up affecting their personal lives, which really sucks.

When did Wake give it away? I don't think Miz and Emily are dating yet but they're definitely close friends at least. Their chemistry is great though, so that could turn into something more in the future if they spend more time together.
