as my hair got longer I became more energized I was very happy to see my progress so I would do my hair more often sometime I would skip a day or two because I would have to get all my supplies together because I don't keep everything in the bathroom and then I would get to it once I get to it and I put my conditioners in and do my little housework or look at TV whatever I have to do all I can think of is just that I have to do my hair and I happily do it I don't wear wigs or protective styling I just keep my hair up on my shoulders and I know that's protective and I really don't think about it anymore I don't have to worry about my edges and I'm more happy with my natural hair that I was with my processed he'll straighten hair now I do blow dry my hair unless it would be so tangled that I wouldn't be able to get through it so long with shea butter oil and moisturizers that I use that's how I keep my head together but now I don't think about it because it's normal to me to be natural

You me and everybody else we should learn about our beautiful hair detangling find a good shampoo that you can come detangle while you're in the shower a good conditioner that you can the tangle your hair in the shower and twist each section before you put your towel on and then put your leave in conditioner if that's what you use in and why you putting your your your leave in conditioner twist your hair back and then however you dry it what do you braid it blow dry it whatever you do it should become easier but just find good products with good slip and don't go in like you washing clothes be gentle with down Strokes make sure your fingernails are not the have any snags in it if so use use plastic gloves open rubber gloves and that will help you with your detangling or less a finger detangling so you know fine things that will help you good shampoo with lots of slip good conditioner with a lot of slip and you know good luck on your journey

Girl why you got me feeling like I was sitting on your Therapy Couch telling you my struggles with being natural, you stepped on my toes with not one but all the issues. Thank you so much for putting it out there. I tried one of your styles and was ready to give up cause it didn't turn out like yours but I remembered you saying no to naturals are alike.

Girl I love this video so much because it hits so close to home for me. I did the big chop before I even knew what being natural was lol. I chopped it off because a sis was stressed and ppl were like "you look so nice natural" so I went with it lol. Grew my hair out and was feeling my natural fro but realized I don't have naturally curly hair so it started to became a burden. I recently chopped it again in June because I'm like I want to spend time with my kids, I'm tired of being late for work, I want to just watch TV on the couch, etc. You definitely weren't lying about natural hair being a part time job in all it's beauty. I may grow it back but I need to get my funds up first lol. These products are running my pockets more than my kids. Stay blessed beautiful 🙂

Great explanation. I wasn't too sure at the start but loved when you said you've got to learn to love💖 your hair. I learnt this about 2 years into my now 4 year journey.
I make my own products but this took a long time to perfect. I wanted to get away from the product junkie state of mind.
My struggles are that I have 2/3 distinct textures and porosity. Length at the back but not at the front. I have adapted my styling to deal with this. For example at the moment I have medium plaits at the front and 2 large flat twists at the back. I rarely wear my hair out but have become creative with my styling. I do think that naturals need to realise that it won't be easy to maintain natural hair but they should learn to love what they've got. We are all unique. I always say love your hair and it will love you back.

Just found your channel as a recommendation from the coal life and I am so grateful for the reference! Girl your head is all the way bad - your sense of humor is refreshing, clean, appropriate. Thank you so very much. This video is perfect, you are absolutely right I am a very new natural as of August 10th of this year and this thing ain't no joke. I went natural because I had some Life Changes, stress from a divorce and going through the menopause then my hair out significantly. I love the thickness of my hair however I was not fully aware that I was a 4C before I made the decision😜, can the Church Say Amen????.
Nonetheless I push forward with wonderful advice and support from your great videos. Keep up the good work!
