Ok it’s been a while, nice video 👍 , which Fly did you use and which Fly did the 1st place winner us? I am jealous that there are so many locations to go Fly Fishing at around AUSTIN. I will definitely make an effort to hit the Living Waters Fly shop. Keep the videos coming ✌️
Thanks Gus. I was using a brown Pat's rubber legs. I failed to ask the first place winner what he was using. And yes I do have to agree we are pretty fortunate around here with so much water. I appreciate the comment thanks for continuing to watch man I will keep the videos coming
Hi Kai, color can be important but this time of year where you are casting and what time of day you are fishing is probably most important. I would try a brown or Olive Pat's rubber legs, cast to deeper shady areas, and try to fish as early and as late in the day as possible. Midday is not out of the question but the bite is always slower and a little harder to be consistent. If you want to try topwater I would do something White, or white / Brown, and again casting and fishing as the above-mentioned. Hope this helps and let me know how it goes please
Great video my friend

Thanks Shane! Appreciate you taking time to watch!

It is a LOT of Fun! Hope y'all can get it worked out.
2 months later I’m back and I’m glad to say I’m slaying them now

Awesome! Glad your back and getting the chance to get out on the water.

I've been crushing Brushy Creek with an olive leech...size 12 hook, I think.
@@iamkarlmeyer Nice, great Color for Brushy!
Could I send you a fly pattern to test? It’s a Ned Rig imitation fly I’m trying to perfect.
Yeah absolutely man I will private message you and give you my PO box or I will put it on here if I cannot contact you otherwise
