Jerry and Linda appeal to many people for many different reasons? They provide useful information about The Villages for those who are living there and for those who are thinking of retiring there? They seem to be the kind of neighbors that many people would like to have? They seem to be like the parents or grandparents that many wish they had? They seem like really nice people who care about others and many of us find them entertaining to watch?
Just enjoy Jerry and Linda because they are real, darling, middle Americans.
Absolutely! They are great examples of the “real people” who live in the Midwest. Friendly, modest, unassuming and thoroughly likeable.
Some people were Grumpy when the were younger, and it continues as they grow older, that being said " love Ya", and of course THE GIZ!
I am agreement people writing ignorant comments are just rude. I guess some have not learned that if "you can't say anything nice don't say it at all"! 😃

Not just retiring people watch, I’m in my 40’s with elementary aged kids and I watch 2x a week! Love you guys you inspire me!!!!

Living on the East Coast of Florida I completely understand both y’all’s hesitation of moving to the coastal area of Florida with the risk of Hurricanes.

Great interview Ruth Dyer did a great job! Hearing you discuss your old home of 33 years such as old family memories, how much you accumulated, going up/down stairs and the house maintenance as you get older. Makes me realize just how much after 50 years we have accumulated in our current home which we also built and what we will have to do if we also move to a smaller home. Sadly, living in Canada the way the housing market is; even if we sold everything (vacant lot and our home) we would not get a home as nice as yours in The Villages.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE living in The Villages - Fenney. And I am really happy there isn’t tons of storage. I LOVE having less stuff, having less to maintain, clean, organize, repair, insure, feel guilty about not using- the more FREEDOM!!! Don’t store stuff when you move here- get rid of anything you don’t use every day and experience freedom!!

I have no interest in moving to The Villages just because I am a country girl and need room for all my animals. I watch your videos simply because it’s interesting to learn about other places. I'm in a new home in Citrus Grove and have TONS of storage here (Hammock model). I feel very fortunate. I know a lot of models don't have as much storage.
The Villages is a cross between cocoon and spring break!
A way to cure yourself of saying "my son", is to have a jar next to you and every time you say it, you have to put $5 in the jar! 💰Jus' sayin'!!😁

Take a trip to Silver Glen Springs for a day trip. It is beautiful. Snorkel the springs or rent a canoe/kayak. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the view.
