Some things take longer than others. Most people would have just gave up.

Mmm, fixing butchered wiring: the bane of most automotive projects. Glad you got it sorted, and it's cool to see it running again.

sad to see the parts car get crushed with so many good parts left on it. You should do the timing belt on the talon ASAP, use oem components aftermarkets are junk

Timing belt was done. Belt itself was Gates Blue, and everything else was OEM. Most expensive timing belt job ever at over $600 for just parts!

@@tinygaragefab yup the last 2 years everything's went up like crazy because mitsu stopped making the parts. The oem parts that are out there are all that's left, like timing tensioners went up $50+ a piece from what they used to be. One way to save money, buy a gates timing belt kit off rockauto throw the belt in the garbage buy a evo 9 belt because they're stronger then the oem dsm ones and identical then buy a tensioner. I've found great deals on oem parts right from japan on ebay, good place to check sometimes I've litterly got oem parts new in package for half the cost of buy from the local suppliers. I've got 2 1gb awd's, 2 2gb gsx's and 1 2gb gst spyder.
