The First Descendant is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

Seems like the kinda game to be fully released a whole year after it launches, with a paywall involved in multiplayer. Or a large chunk of the map is off-limits until you purchase highly optional DLC

Nexon? Wow, they've come a long way since Maple Story.
Remember that this is an F2P game. It's not marketed to your specific niche. There are people who will be able to handle the monetization model, and most who will not. But don't get the wrong impression of this game and then somehow act surprised when Nexon shows the gacha system later, or whatever.
To be fair, Nexon has a long history of games with monetezation and those have never been terrible.

Usually when a game looks awesome, it's all it is. Game is short or repetitive, buggy, with garbage gameplay.

@@N5FX its all about their invasive and manipulative MTX that ruins what could have been a great game, sure it makes millions through addictive gambling mechanics and ruins a few people's lives that can't control their addiction, but still sometimes a great game get lost with greedy mechanics. Its just a shame

Yeah gameplay will be the more interesting part, along with some sort of indication on longevity, anthem looked super pretty but had the depth of a puddle lol

@@GodSmit The game wasn't that bad it just lacked any kind of depth, there was really nothing to do other than basic clearing of rooms of enemies

Can’t wait until we see the final trailer in 10 years and it looks completely different. Then we learned they changed team and had a whole new writer step in. Then we find out that they scrapped everything and started over but started using the pre-written lines to fill it in to meet the dead line.

The Trailer looks really amazing, interested to see where this is going.

Rule of Thumb with video games: If it looks fun, original, and interesting then it more than likely going to be none of those things when it gets released.

Nice that some one finally put Warframe,, Destiny 2, etc into one game. Just give us a 3rd person view and make it as smooth as Warframe and you got a new fan.
So much of this reminds me of Warframe. The characters, some of the enemy designs, a little of the combat and movement, even some of the helmets seem reminiscent of Warframe’s(Mag and Rhino in particular)

As someone who thoroughly enjoyed and grinded endlessly on such sleeper 3rd person hits as Control and Remnant, among others, this looks fun. But yeah, looks can be deceiving. Hope it really lives up to this hype. If so, count me in. 🤘

My scars from Anthem will not allow me to even get close to this one. Heed my warning young ones! Dont buy games based on trailers, buy games once they launch! ⚠
The weapons sound effects just "floating" over the rest of the sounds. Sounds like a B-movie sound editing or one of those music videos where the song is removed.
Can't wait to hear about how the best parts of the game are available only if you purchase the platinum collector's version and the DLC gun quest pack and wait 18 months for the bugs to be squished
