Then you people of hilly areas must form an organization which will strongly oppose such environment prone projects and ultimately stop them. If you people didn't oppose them or take strict actions against these projects , you people will lose it all and then lastly whole country will lose it all. Keep it simple and approach the government in right way... I know it's not easy. But we need to save such beautiful places coz they are the prestige of our nation

I worked/interned for DRDO for 6 months, my work mainly focused on renewable energy projects and defence system integration to put in simple words. For timepass I looked into DRDOs upcoming disaster management threats and programs where, climate change was on high priority and just to give an insight, the surface area is going to reduce, the water levels are rising and the soil is dying. The northern frontier is a sleeping tsunami!
Along with sustainable development, a controlled/limited tourism approach is also required to avoid such happenings in future. It would be good if you could discuss about that approach in your next video. Love your work and approach to such complex issues. ☺️

Development should not come in cost of People's Livelihood 😔. Giving permission for Bypass despite of the Sinking issue is the main issue. First Morbi Bridge & now Joshimath 😪
But if development doesn't happen, there's disconnectivity and it becomes a burden for that place. Look, development will always come at a cost. But halting development may help us evade a greater disaster, but will us deprived from the greater good we deserve... Decide were to go.

Please make a video on Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Its the coal capital of India. The place is suffering extremely due to open cast mining and coal dust. Waha bhi kafi accidents huye hai jisme dharti ke achanak phatne se log andar sama gye and were turned into ashes due to the coal which is still burning underground.
I went to Joshimath in 2016. it is a beautiful place after seeing this calamity. I feel sad about the people who live their. Great video, and I think we need more people to be vocal about global warming. We are still not vocal and this is very severe issue. I am around 30s right now I don't know how much I will live if I love longer than usual I don't want to see people die or suffer due to global warming. Earth is giving us several warnings but we humans are ignoring all the time. We need celebs to talk about this just like Leonardo, greta not only talk need to work on it as well.

The last illusion, the last snare of maya to trap the living entity, is the proposition that he is God. The living entity thinks that he is no longer a conditioned soul, but God. He is so unintelligent that he does not think that if he were God, then how could he be in doubt? That he does not consider. So that is the last snare of illusion. Actually to become free from the illusory energy is to understand Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and agree to act according to His order. The word mohah is very important in this verse. Mohah refers to that which is opposed to knowledge. Actually real knowledge is the understanding that every living being is eternally servitor of the Lord, but instead of thinking oneself in that position, the living entity thinks that he is not servant, that he is the master of this material world, for he wants to lord it over the material nature. That is his illusion. This illusion can be overcome by the mercy of the Lord or by the mercy of a pure devotee. When that illusion is over, one agrees to act in Krsna consciousness. Krsna consciousness is acting according to Krsna's order. A conditioned soul illusioned by the external energy of matter does not know that the Supreme Lord is the master who is full of knowledge and who is the proprietor of everything. Whatever He desires He can bestow upon His devotees; He is the friend of everyone, and He is especially inclined to His devotee. He is the controller of this material nature and of all living entities. He is also the controller of inexhaustible time, and He is full of all opulences and all potencies. The Supreme Personality of Godhead can even give Himself to the devotee. One who does not know Him is under the spell of illusion; he does not become a devotee, but a servitor of maya. Arjuna, however, after hearing Bhagavad-gita from the Supreme Personality of Godhead, became free from all illusion. He could understand that Krsna was not only his friend, but the Supreme Personality of Godhead. And he understood Krsna factually. So to study Bhagavad-gita is to understand Krsna factually. When a person is in full knowledge, he naturally surrenders to Krsna. When Arjuna understood that it was Krsna's plan to reduce the unnecessary increase of population, he agreed to fight according to Krsna's desire. He again took up his weapons-his arrows and bow-to fight under the order of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

The same situation like this is happening in Coorg or Kodagu a small district in Karnataka) This place is very well known for its natural beauty and is bombarded by tourists. In the name of tourism and development by the money-minded people, Coorg is being destroyed. The locals are suffering. During every monsoon lot of calamities happen and the government is sleeping over the issues as usual. We are humans and other species suffers by this incidents. Since childhood we are read about sustainable development in Environmental science and Geography, but when comes topic about development, no one doing sustainable development, they are destroy environment, build buildings. We all have some limitations to tolerate, same as our mother Earth also have limitations of tolerance power, when we cross limit, from this environment can't tolerate us. Why is nobody questioning the fact that why was the Hydel Power Plant project awarded to NTPC and not NHPC? This has to be investigated I loved the line that school mein EVS optional hota tha and India k liye sach mein Environment second hai bas advertisement karna hai and bina environment ka soch ke development karna hai. I always thought why developments are made neglecting our nature! I am from on of the cities you mentioned which would drown due to global warming effects, and I can already see why, century old trees(100 or so) are slaughtered for road winding projects everywhere and I am sad that all these things are happening and people don't even care. Unless and until the public join hands nothing is going to change.

*TRANSLATION*
Arjuna said, My dear Krsna, O infallible one, my illusion is now gone. I have regained my memory by Your mercy, and I am now firm and free from doubt and am prepared to act according to Your instructions.
*PURPORT*
The constitutional position of a living entity, represented by Arjuna, is that he has to act according to the order of the Supreme Lord. He is meant for self-discipline. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu says that the actual position of the living entity is that of eternal servant of the Supreme Lord. Forgetting this principle, the living entity becomes conditioned by material nature, but in serving the Supreme Lord, he becomes the liberated servant of God. The living entity's constitutional position is to be servitor; he either has to serve the illusory maya or the Supreme Lord. If he serves the Supreme Lord, he is in his normal condition, but if he prefers to serve the illusory external energy, then certainly he will be in bondage. In illusion the living entity is serving in this material world. He is bound by his lust and desires, yet he thinks of himself as the master of the world. This is called illusion. When a person is liberated, his illusion is over, and he voluntarily surrenders unto the Supreme to act according to His desires. The last illusion, the last snare of maya to trap the living entity, is the proposition that he is God. The living entity thinks that he is no longer a conditioned soul, but God. He is so unintelligent that he does not think that if he were God, then how could he be in doubt? That he does not consider. So that is the last snare of illusion. Actually to become free from the illusory energy is to understand Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and agree to act according to His order. The word mohah is very important in this verse. Mohah refers to that which is opposed to knowledge. Actually real knowledge is the understanding that every living being is eternally servitor of the Lord, but instead of thinking oneself in that position, the living entity thinks that he is not servant, that he is the master of this material world, for he wants to lord it over the material nature. That is his illusion. This illusion can be overcome by the mercy of the Lord or by the mercy of a pure devotee. When that illusion is over, one agrees to act in Krsna consciousness.
Krsna consciousness is acting according to Krsna's order. A conditioned soul illusioned by the external energy of matter does not know that the Supreme Lord is the master who is full of knowledge and who is the proprietor of everything. Whatever He desires He can bestow upon His devotees; He is the friend of everyone, and He is especially inclined to His devotee. He is the controller of this material nature and of all living entities. He is also the controller of inexhaustible time, and He is full of all opulences and all potencies. The Supreme Personality of Godhead can even give Himself to the devotee. One who does not know Him is under the spell of illusion; he does not become a devotee, but a servitor of maya. Arjuna, however, after hearing Bhagavad-gita from the Supreme Personality of Godhead, became free from all illusion. He could understand that Krsna was not only his friend, but the Supreme Personality of Godhead. And he understood Krsna factually. So to study Bhagavad-gita is to understand Krsna factually. When a person is in full knowledge, he naturally surrenders to Krsna. When Arjuna understood that it was Krsna's plan to reduce the unnecessary increase of population, he agreed to fight according to Krsna's desire. He again took up his weapons-his arrows and bow-to fight under the order of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

The same situation like this is happening in Coorg or Kodagu a small district in Karnataka) This place is very well known for its natural beauty and is bombarded by tourists. In the name of tourism and development by the money-minded people, Coorg is being destroyed. The locals are suffering. During every monsoon lot of calamities happen and the government is sleeping over the issues as usual.

We are humans and other species suffers by this incidents.
Since childhood we are read about sustainable development in Environmental science and Geography, but when comes topic about development, no one doing sustainable development, they are destroy environment, build buildings.
We all have some limitations to tolerate, same as our mother Earth also have limitations of tolerance power, when we cross limit, from this environment can't tolerate us.
It's really sad to see that also animals are suffering for human's unscientific activity.
