I recently made the switch to battery lawn equipment, and I'm really impressed with the EGO brand. Looks like I'll be adding this vacuum to the EGO collection. I have the LM2114 mower, LB6703 blower, and the ST1521 trimmer.

EGO has definitely played a huge role in changing the dynamic of the battery powered lawn game. Their mowers, string trimmers, and blowers have pulled the rest of the industry up to where it is. Thanks for watching.

What would be nice is to have a zipper at the bottom of the filter bag so you can empty the dry stuff right out with ease..

my guess, they will soon have a better bag option, for a price of course.

You do know you can just dump the dry contents out the hole where it goes in? You can reuse them a few to many times depending on how fine of dust is produced. No reason to toss the bag each use.

I would absolutely LOVE to be able to use this in the house on carpet and wish they made a rotating carpet head powered by air flow like the carpet head on my Dyson vacuum. I believe EGO is missing a very large market as there are really no household carpet cordless vacuums with interchangeable batteries. I wonder if I'd could somehow rig the Dyson carpet head to fit this..?

3d print an adapter. easiest would be to use the airpowered dyson head, the new heads are electrically driven and would require some more work to also provide power.

You know, Ego is the only brand I know that doesn't heavily advertise itself as brushless. You basically have to either find it on the box with the BL logo or you have to find it on the spec label found on the tool. The misting fan never mentioned itself as a brushless tool, but you can find it hidden right where the motor of the fan is.

Quality casters are important. The power looks amazing. Storage is nice. It looks cool. Man, with all of the features, what's not to love? That said.... a remote? I mean, i guess, but maybe save a few bucks for the consumer and leave that out? Or perhaps a less expensive model without that.

The right product is on the wrong platform and should be on the Flex 24v line. Then, the red and yellow brands will come out with a better version to compete. Now the "only" competitor is 40v brand to come out with something.

I agree that is working at max POWER so you definitely need some back up batteries (snow blower & Shop Vac) that being said you have to look at EGO is a long term investment. I have their following tool and batteries: Lawnmower (5.0) line trimmer(2.5) Snow blower 2 (7.0), & hedge clippers. I also purchased a (10.0) battery separately just because I have a large parking lot. I absolutely love their products. I live in Chicago, so not have to pull a chain to start a snowblower sealed the deal for me.
