Holy fuck. I just stumbled upon this. I cannot really articulate myself here. And I’m a tough sell. Complete snob about my music. This is absolutely splendid. The texture is beyond description. I hope your stuff is for sale on iTunes because I’m getting it all. Whoa.
seeing as the world is just stupid, I guess I"m going to just have to take this song an add it to my performance list because it is incredible. but I will never touch this performance, no matter how hard I try.
You make me want to turn into some kind of male groupie ! .... no, seriously all of you are incredibly beautiful. Thank you for your music and what you stand for.
Why do so many of these country songs characterize the woman as dangerous, destructive, or actually evil in some way? The handful of truly evil people I've ever known personally have all been male. Daily news headlines seem to support my conclusion. But misogyny is alive & well in the country music scene. As a cultural anthropologist, I can say that cultural messages have a lot to do with a demographic population's individual mindsets and by extension, their politics.
That’s why I’ll never listen to that Bro Country bullshit and seek out alt-country and Americana that breaks from the misogyny. Listen to Every Girl and 7&7 by Turnpike Troubadours. Same wire Sturgill, Childers, and many more. Or just listen to women. I’m With Her could be the best folk group on the planet today.
Just found this band today. Their groove is terrific. Wish the bassist was more in the mix? The bass seems to have a pickup that wasn't used? She's trying to let the instrument do the job by itself, but her touch is light. Shame, her playing is very fine.

Im not a cultural anthropologist like you but, I agree with what you're suggesting.

Wish you gurls would act a bit happier...and not so depressed.
They don't look unhappy or depressed; feeling the musical ambiance
Pretty good harmony singing, but those three look very pissed off and sour.
I saw them live at a house concert, their energy is anything but. ;)
I think they’re just feeling the music 🎶
It’s good but the main singer is hella strange, keeps staring at both the other band mates like she wants to fuckin eat them. Good song though
