Completely honest, the first 30 minutes of the episode bored me half to death. And they didn't do Da*nerys's death justice at all. I felt like it was so anticlimactic? But the Stark montage at the end was "bittersweet." Yes, they were alive and Sansa was crowned, but they're all alone. I'm ~sad as fuck.~
Dedicated to Angie and Ana who literally kept me on the Jonsa train this whole season. Keep giving me Jonsa content. :')

I swear I bawled the moment they hugged for their last goodbye😭😭
Jon and Sansa reunion at the Wall made me cry
What I found most painful about the last episode was not Daenerys dying, but Sansa being alone in Winterfell. I am happy she's become the queen in the North, but she is alone. Arya is gone for who knows how long if not forever, Bran is far away in King's Landing not being really Bran anymore and Jon is beyond the wall... he might come to visit her sometimes, Benjen did come back to Winterfell from time to time as a member of the Night Watch, but it is not the same as if he was with her. All Sansa wanted was to come home... but home is where your family is and her family is gone. The Jenny song was about her in the end...

Anyways, I love that the North is independent and I love that the Stark kids are alive and of course, the ending is open and it doesn't mean they won't ever see each other again, but it really was the bittersweet ending they promised us. This video is so beautiful, but so painful to watch. All that Jonsa buildup for nothing... well, not for nothing, I still believe they love each other, I believe in them being some kind of endgame in the books if they are ever published and I believe in fanfiction to restore my faith in happy endings, but still... I feel kind of... cheated. Even though I believe Jon right now needs to find peace beyond the wall... and a lot can happen between now and never.
Same I thought brienne or someone would be with Sansa but just wow...
I started sobbing and I remember saying "she's all alone."
Yeah Sansa being all alone at the end was part of why I think Sandor should have survived Clegane Bowl. And afterwards he and Arya return to Winterfell and Sandor lives out his days as basically The leader of Sansa’s Queens Guard. That way when John is exiled and Arya goes off as well, there’d at least be 1 other named actual character in Winterfell with Sansa, as opposed to her just being surrounded by nobodies at the end.
Plus I always liked the idea of the Hound making it’s new home among the Wolves.
to think that sansa was right by his side when he was chosen as the king in the north, but she was all alone during her coronation (with the black fur on the top side of her gown - that has to be a symbolism!). this just breaks my heart, i love them so much - i just wanted them to be happy. anyway, this is so beautiful and heartbreaking!

I believe her dress and the one-shoulder-fur thing were there to represent Arya (the one-shoulder thing, which can be seen on her outfit as well) and Jon (the fur), to have her family by her side (perhaps if I stretch it a bit, the wooden throne might represent Bran aka his wooden wheelchair but this one am I not sure about.)
@@michaja2 per Michelle Calpton; the gown is gray with weirwood branches as her armour, her sleeves have red weirwood leafs ( Bran ) , the style of the sleeves is a homage to the only non Stark Sansa cares for ( Margery Tyrell ) represented in the gown.
The right sleeve is patterned in fish scales ( her mother's house ) as it travels to Sansa's left arm it's transformed into a Direwolf ( her father's house ) the color is black representing Jon snow as it travels down it becomes a bit dishevelled ( this is Rickon ),
the half cape deign is for Arya, Sansa's chain and needle is her reminder of her bondage and her connection to her sister; the crown or collar ( ? forgot which ) is for Robb. Sansa's hair is her freedom.
Sansa represents the north as a living breathing Weirwood Tree.
And those are Michelle Clapton's hands dressing her in that scene.

Headcanon: as tv tropes suggested, sending Jon to the wall was a ruse to trick the unsullied (something Jon is told about en route). He becomes King Beyond The Wall...but Sansa will get him to take Stark last name, and JONSA does happen.
It was all set, one episode was all we needed to confirm Jonsa and they came up with that bitter ending.

Plus they are cousins, even the parents of Ned were cousins too, and in other occasions a Stark lady married her uncle, so it's totally accepted even in the North. Obviously not the brothers incest, but cousins it's OK.

Sansa , Bran and Jon even Arya can also correspond . The pack grew up, they need to make their own life now and hopefully they do well they continue to be legends in Westeros history.
Jon is not really alone, he is With People who appreciate him and support him for the person he is. He never belonged in winterfell

When Jon talked to Tyrion, he didn’t care about his life or anyone, until he said about Sansa and Arya. I think then made a decision to kill Daneys.
I kind of think so now too...Jon stopped and turned around when tyrion said Sansa and Arya would never bow to Daenerys as Queen...

Wow I can't believe the show forgot to play that epilogue scene where Jon and Sansa reunite (again) and Jon becomes her consort and they have babies like they always dreamed of. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this lovely video. You included all the scenes I loved and you managed to make it hopeful lol (i.e. see my first sentence - because I refuse to believe that those scenes of foreshadowing were bs.).
I still have mixed feelings about this episode but I agree with you: they rushed everything, even Jon and Dany's fates. D&D ruined the characters (I'm sorry if I'm too straightforward, but it's inevitable when one of your favorite TV shows has been destroyed). I feel unsatisfied, that's all... but aw, you managed to give justice to them and can't wait to see more videos of yours. 💕
I agree the season finale felt a bit rushed. However, the ending was always going to be same as GRRM's conclusion or vision. Bittersweet.
Same... what happened wasn't that bad, but too rushed and because of that mostly unreasonable. Except for Bronn being in the Counsil. Who in their right mind would come up with such a stupid idea? Best thing about this season are her videos ♥️

I think Baelish, Joffrey and Ramsey were the reasons why Jon didn't let himself fall in love with Sansa. He saw how much damage the men she loved, she trusted or she was married to provoked in Sansa, so he kind of forced himself to not feel anything beyond what a brother should feel to not cause her any kind of distress. Always the honorable fool.
I still do believe they loved each other! there are many pieces of evidence to support this theory. They just never got the chance to act on it.
Hopefully that will go different in the books. From what I have seen, there is more foreshadowing of a future relationship between Jon and Sansa than Jon being Rhaegar's son! Or heir to the throne in the books! I even think D&D were trying to follow G.R.R.M. about this relationship.

But don't worry Jonsa people ... there's a LOT of foreshadowing in the books. As for the series, they didn't die! Jon's in exile in the upper North ... North!! And the queen there, isn't about to let the former king rot in exile for too long, I guarantee. Packs do well only when together. She'll get him back. The Starks have endured. Now they will continue.
Jonsa will ensure that the Starks do not die out.

Sansa + Jon is the most logical end game. It's also beautiful, because Jon is an honorable man, a fierce protector that would always keep Sansa safe. And she needs a man that feels like home. The reason it's logical is because it would unite the north and the south. Sansa is the north, and Jon is the rightful heir to the throne as Prince Rheagar's son, so he would bring in all the secret Targaryen sympathizers. They could rule the whole kingdom once the others are dead and the wall is no longer needed, from the very heart of the continent. It made zero sense to divide the kingdom into north/south between two Starks on each throne. What were they thinking?? Omg, the series ending was so lame. xD

I believe with all my heart that after Sansa has rebuilt the North and Jon has healed from all that's happened, he will return to the North and eventually they'll end up together. nothing can convince me otherwise.
Specially cause its also logical for this to happen: Bran can't have children and any children Sansa or Arya have will, traditionally, carry their father's name. So the only way for the Stark line to continue is for either Arya or Sansa to marry a man who is willing to take their name. And who better to do that than the man who's wanted nothing more than to be a Stark his whole life?
I agree 100%. Arya and Sansa will continue the Stark lines with Gendry and Jon respectively. Jon always wanted to be a Stark and Gendry just wanted family. So Jon returns north and he and Sansa will marry. And Gendry gave up his titles because he did say it wasn't worth it without her. And both our Stark sisters are happy and will pass their name.
Actually they can marry anyone in lower standing House or name; and the children would be Starks for two reasons: Sansa is Queen the children will be Starks, two the Starks like Lannisters came from a female line prior in their history.

A beautiful tribute, showing the complexities and nuances of one of the few relationships in GoT built on respect and trust and mutual admiration: You showed how Jon learned to listen to Sansa, respecting the hard-earned wisdom of her experience; and how Sansa finally allowed herself to trust and have faith in someone after everything she endured - "Someone brave, and gentle, and strong..." Jon and Sansa had such amazing chemistry. They argued because they cared: And they were fiercely loyal to each other.
I would've loved if Jon had abdicated the throne - for Sansa: And that, after the wars were over, Sansa became Queen in the North with Jon as her husband and Lord Consort, and Lord Commander of the Northern Army: Jon prepared for war, ensuring their ultimate survival, while Sansa provided for their people, and looked ahead to ensure they survived the winter once they won the war, ensuring the North was fed, and felt safe - the two things most rulers in GoT don't care about when it comes to their people.

Game of Thrones had to end this way. I know it was painful and heartbreaking, but it’s the only way Jonsa can move forward.
Jon needs time away from all the politics and confusion, he needs simple. And beyond the wall can give that to him.
Jon needs to heal from losing Dany (even though it wasn’t much of a loss in my book) and he made need time to forgive Sansa.
Sansa needs time to rebuild the North and create a prosperous and fair kingdom. She has no rime for romance.
But do not forget that Tyrion said, “Ask me in ten years”.
This is fucking foreshadowing. Give our babies ten years and shit will go down.
Jon will be 33 and Sansa 30, which gives them all of the time they need to mature and realize their love. Both really just need to think, they need time.
Jon will become King Beyond the Wall. He will have the backing of the Wildlings. An alliance with him and the Queen in the North makes so much damn sense.
With a cousin as sovereign in the country that he is basically a resident of, and a cousin on the “Iron Throne”, and being the king of his own people, Jon has hella connections.
I would’ve love to have seen a kiss and a wedding, but D and D weren’t feeling it. I am not giving up hope for a sequel, and neither should any of you beautiful souls.
It is been confirmed that Sansa was jealous of Dany and Jon. Jon has acknowledged Sansa’s skill and worth. The seeds have been planted. They now need to harvest.
And maybe we’ll get some of the writer’s, Sophie’s or GRRM’s vision for what happened next.

But he is an oathkeeper, isn't he? It wasn't shown if he took a vow (which opens a discussion if he is free in every sense of a.word) but he promised Dany she wouod be his queen always. I do think Jon and Sansa had a better chemistry, and understanding and compassion for each other than him and Dany would have. But. It is the end.

when was it confirmed that sansa was jealous of dany and jon's reéationship and not just hating the fact that dany doesn't want to give the north independence? i love jonsa, and even though it seemed sophie turner played sansa as a jealous woman, i haven't seen any of the creators confirm it.

It's not just Dany he needs to heal from, it's healing from losing people he cares about overall. He lost his first love in his arms too. He found out his father isn't actually his father and that he lied for 17 years to protect him, being killed, and ptsd from war. Jon hasn't had the time to actually react to situations and that's not healthy.

Unpopular opinion: I liked the ending. It was completely rushed but I think if they had developed it better and gave it an additional season it would have been great. Our Starks all found their place and only a fool would believe that our boy won't get pardoned by his real Queen soon ;)

this is amazing. love the song choice. the bitter was too much, but *sigh*. everyone keeps calling the ending open-ended, but it just feels unfinished to me. jon and sansa should've gotten to speak frankly with sansa being in the middle of every jon and dany conversation. the closure to that is him killing dany but just everything, everything feels hollow. but your video is brilliant. i haven't watched any bc yiiikes but i knew yours would do even the travesty we got justice.

Although I was a little disappointed by the ending, I'm glad "the pack survives." We can always imagine or write (via fan fiction) about what could happen in the future because they're still alive. Jonsa forever!

I love the music very much. It suits Jonsa and this love triangle. Jon wanted to love Dany or to say he wanted others to believe he loved her, but actually Sansa was his "another love". Even with Dany, he still couldn't get Sansa off his mind. So eventually he chose Sansa and killed Dany
I don't think Jon killed Dany for the purposes of resolving a love triangle. Dany had just massacred an entire city, felt it was right, and wouldn't stop :/ Jon wanted to give Dany another chance but Dany refused mercy as an option.

I'm so pissed off! Jamie (one of my favourites anyway) killed a rightful king and the only punishment he got was that everyone called him a kingslayer. Jon killed Dany, the end of the world! Let's send him back to the Night's Watch with no posibility to come back... ( I like the idea of Mad Queen, but Daenerys character development should be better.)
Bran has given freedom to Jon. Can you recall when Jon was the happiest? With the widlings. Greyworm doesn't know that the Nightwatch doesn't exist anymore. But Bran knows that Jon can join the widlings.
A lot can happen between now and never... They have given us an open ending... Jon, right now, after killing Dany and everything that has happened, needs to find peace beyond the wall, but Sansa is the queen in the North, she can pardon him as the Wall is part of the Northern independent kingdom. In 10 years time, no one will care if the Kingdom is prosperous and people are happy. They can forgive him and Grey Worm is never coming back to Westeros, so he might never even find out... So lets just pretend... it's gonna happen... I agree with you that it was rushed tho... the development should have been longer.
@@THEAnnEla It all looks like they wanted an unexpected ending and therefore they decided to sacrifice everything (logic, characters' development, plot's complicity, just everything) to get that WOW effect. I personally hate that. For me GOT was so much different from other shows, 'cause it was so much complicated and logical. All the smallest pieces were right on their places. And what did we get in the end? It was like to get a kid's bike, when you was hoping to get Ferrari. I'm so disappointed... But the first seasons are still masterpiece.
@@ANGIE201229 I don't think it was an unexpected ending to be honest... maybe Bran but not Daenerys and the Mad Queen. I have seen that coming for quite some time... so I am not angry about that... but the fact it was just 6 episodes hurt some of the characters, especially Jon who seemed brainless most of the time... And Jaime, definitely... he should kill Cersei. She should die by hands of Valonquar and not in the hands of Valonqar... disappointment definitely. But over all, I am at peace with the ending.

THIS. THIS IS THE BEST THING I'VE SEEN ABOUT THE DAMNED TRIANGLE. And Gosh, it hurts again. Why are you even such a gifted perfect editor? Why. I'm crying again, and I'll never stop loving your works and mah wolf kids.
D&D didn't do it that bad, still, things were too rushed and too subtle, bc they probably were afraid to make Jonsa officially happen, which was, tbh, so easy! Just one line from Jon that he will return to her! D&D cowardly decided to avoid ship wars via crashing all the so beloved ships. However for me, Jonsa is sealed: no matter what Jon felt for Dny after all that horrid mess, he made up his mind and killed her only after Tyrion confirmed Jon's biggest fear, i.e. Dny harming Sansa. My boy *knew* Sansa is in danger, Dny said so herself more than once. *And he chose Sansa, her safety, her life* instead of that terrible new world and a hell of an abusive relationship. Jon kept his promise and trust me he'll come back to his redhead lady - he just needs to heal on his own. Plus, I'm sure that kinda open final applies to Winds of Winter but not to the Dream of Spring (where the North is thriving Jonsa and Gendrya are canon and the pack reunites for the last time).

You can tell everything but an ending with Jon and Sansa Together would have been one of the best love stories of all time. Million of people would have loved it. It was all perfect nothing new to add. After the finale they gave us, I'm seriously thinking that mr George RR is not such a great writer. Because you know a work of art is not only how you start and how you write, but also HOW YOU END. With this ending just a small number of people will remember GOT or maybe rewatch it. SURE I'LL NEVER DO THAT.
George really didn't help at all after season 4. And the ending in the books could change as well because if it has a different ending to the show it will attract more show fans to the books.

I'm so glad the north has finally his queen. Most people hate sansa but i think she's a very interesting character. She started as this little girl, dreaming about a prince to make her a queen. But after all she has been through (and most of this was not her fault) she turned out as another player in the game. I love her journey. She didn't fight like arya or daenerys but she's still a warrior and the north deserves a queen who would did anything for him.
J. Tux true . She is the only one who is a WORTHY QUEEN so far , rest is all politics or family . But she earned it .
