I remember hating on season 9, but I am rewatching it now and it had some really solid episodes, like this one. I just did not like it because I was too used to X-Files being Mulder and Scully, but it is really great once you look past that. This episode in particular is a treat. A really, REALLY weird treat. I love the realization that hit me at the end, as to who Burt Reynolds' character actually was.
I used to be a huge X-Phile in the '90s but stopped watching regularly after season 6. I loved season 6, but I felt that the little that I saw of season 7 was too different. I am catching up on all more recent seasons now, and I have to say I really like them.
One of the sweetest episodes in X-Files ever. I like the attitude ... eeeh and I can do math.. Esp. Fractals & Co. I'm glad that so much Love is involved in this. :-D
Best Best Best episode ever....... Three very .... Four very beautiful people..... Doggett ain't half bad I'm certain from a woman's point of view but those two ladies are just something else... Burt speaks for himself and always has.
@@frankkojak962 Love this one. I thought he was playing God from the first time I saw this. God may not play dice with the universe, but he does play checkers. ;-)
Gosh, I just LOVE the look on Scully's face when she loses the checkers game. Unforgettable!
I laugh every time I hear this. It was one of the most memorable shows of the X-files. I absolutely loved it!
RIP Burt Reynolds. I will always remember you by this performance. The truth is out there...and now you know.
Best episode ever! Thank you!
One of the best episodes in the entire series.

I love Reyes and Doggett, and even more Reyes and Scully")
Absence of Mulder gave it good rewatch value. Mulder was arrogant.

BURT REYNOLDS TO SCULLY NEXT VICTIM LMAO
Wasn't there the hint that Reynold's character was God? .. that's the impression I got.
camf33 not the devil himself? :D
CuddyWoolf I don’t know - which one was it? What’s your take?
There was, at the end of the show Reyes says to Scully, "only God knows". You need to pay better attention.
