Mackenzie Longs run was phenomenal, probably the most efficient running ive ever seen from a female collegiate athlete. Great start great execution, great turn over speed and no dip in form towards the last 20meters. If she reading this amazing job.
JaMeesia Ford, Jadyn Mays, McKenzie Long and Kaila Jackson could potentially make a lot of big names US trials very challenging this year, if they maintain form. Ford is looking like one of the best talents since Allyson Felix and Sydney in the American sport,
None of these ladies will factor at trials if history is anything to go by. I guess it depends on their ability to hold this current peak and have something more beyond fumes to run on in a few weeks time.
@@stephentrader9142 We will see. Sprints my main focus and thus outside of Mu and Kipyegon, I pay little to no interest to distance races and competitors. In the 200M, there were 3 American entrants. They placed 2nd, 7th and 8th. None ran a sub 20. They will not factor at trials. 13-14%. But that’s at face value. Many of these competitors are unrelated from differing tribes, regions, and countries and many are clearly biracial like McKenzie Long.

@@jazzymars30 You can be in denial all you want, but Shericka is not in a good place right now. She's running 22.6 while other women are running 22.0 and even sub-20. It's going to be hard to get down to the 22 or sub-20 range she needs to be, with the Olympics starting less than 2 months from now. She is clearly behind schedule, and time is running out.
Jameesa Ford looks best to me. My money is on her for the win. Lyston seems to be running with somewhat of an injury again. If she does have one, why is she in the 200M
The college runners are running faster times because they are competing more than the pros. The pro runners are not competing consistently against their top competitors which is not good because they are not growing their audience. Fans want to see the top runners compete against each other. Too many pros are talking about breaking records instead of constantly competing.

Lyston was given lane 2 because at regionals she qualified on time and it was a time that was near the bottom. So with an unimpressive qualification she gets a horrible lane. Similar to Shacarri getting lane 9 at worlds because she qualified on time rather than automatically.

Not even technical with these races but it was evident that her strides were really smooth
Totally agree 💯💪🏽
Yall delusional
Damn NCAA looking better than the pros!
Ncaa train to peak now pros peak later in the year

Happens damn near every year but at the championships the momentum rarely carries over.
Because it’s Olympic year. You peak at the right time

Brianna seem like she never wanted to make she backed off like she decided I don’t wanna push myself. We need u healthy so it’s ok 🇯🇲

That’s the difference with Jamaican athletes they run fast at the right time
