Great video, this helped me a lot and simplified things that most people who do videos like these either just skim over or explain them in difficult ways. Could you do a video mainly focusing on how to get the right/ perfect specific detailed measurements for any clothing (down to small details), design, and clothing tags. This has been one of the main things that have been keeping me from moving forward with my brand
Glad it helped you. As far as specific detailed measurements, design labels, that would depend on what you’re making. There’s no right or wrong way to do it. It’s really your own personal preference.
Could you please explain why did you put an example of a blank on ur tech pack ? So that the manufacturer can be inspired while making the t shirt ? Or they will first order the shaka heavyweight tee and then screen print on it ?
Usually the shop that prints your order has a ton of other orders from other people. As you can imagine, most print shops will have hundreds of tshirt blanks from multiple different brands, so including the blank name and style will help the printer keep your order accurate and not mixed up with someone else’s order or your design accidentally printed on a different blank. 👍
Basically I thought that, by providing the size chart the manu would create the t shirt (cut and sew) and so they don’t need a blank reference. Is that accurate ? Otherwise imagine if I put the shaka wear as the blank, they will respect the size of that specific tee ?
If you’re doing cut and sew, then yes, you should provide a separate size chart with measurements of each shirt. In the video I explained that the tech pack I had was for a basic ‘print shop’ using ready made blanks.
@@jiggywithj alright. This means that I don’t need to put a blank section on my tech pack as I will send it to an Alibaba Manufacturer and want to make my own size chart right ?
This is sick! I'm so happy I discovered you today! :) And I am ready to create my own label
Yoooo I appreciate the support! I’m happy to hear that!

hey can use use photopea?
Not sure if it would work on illustrator files.
What if the blank is custom made
then you’ll need a separate sheet with all the measurements per size
Thank You...
