Just rewatched this series, and that moment of heroic sacrifice is the heart of what Gurren Lagann is about. Carrying the dream forward for the next generation.
I remember this scene 😢. This gave me chills 😭. Gurren Lagann was one the first animes I contributed full time after High School. Heaven's Lost Property was another I continued with.
Goku sacrifice against cell will always have a special place in my heart, seeing goku realize his mistake with gohan and try to atone for it is what makes goku not that bad of a father.
I like to pause before your shorts and ask myself the question you're asking yourself and compare the answers and I'm glad to say we are on the same page. My man Kittan went out with all the style and machismo to the point where Simone cried blood. 10/10, have watched several times.
the best part I cry when he said I will see you guys soon cause all his close homie all dead and he got the kiss the girl he be have a crush on and finally used the move he see so many time and felt the power, bro it legend
I was 10 when I watched Gurren Lagann for the first time and that entire anime hits just as hard emotionally as it did back then. Easily tied for my all time favorite 🙏
Always loved his talk with the sniper girl before he sacrificed himself. Something about even though Simon was the one who pulled the team forward as the leader, it was Kittan that’s always been the one pushing the team from behind…. Was a great moment
No dont remind me. I recently rewatched and I cried there and now I’m gonna cry again. I loved this anime and all its noble and amazing sacrifices. No anime makes me cry more than this one right here.
Gurren Lagann is simultaneously the coolest and most vibrant anime you'll ever see, while also being the most sad and depressing experience you'll have once done.
“My soldiers ride on!” That speech gets me every time man. That’s gotta be my vote. May have been just body’s being thrown at a wall they couldn’t move. But it was either try and move the wall or have the wall move you. At least they went down trying.
I havent seen that one, but there is one that came to mind for me. If you know, you know: "It's natural that I'd protect you all. The young buds must be allowed to bloom."

How could you forget BON CLAY OUR HERO
Bro fr died twice for Luffy and still lived
This scene never fails to bring tears to my eyes bruh.
Even though Gurren Lagann is one of my favorite animes of all time, I think for this question, Erwin’s final push in Aot is better.
Just rewatched this series, and that moment of heroic sacrifice is the heart of what Gurren Lagann is about. Carrying the dream forward for the next generation.
KING KITTAN, GIGA, DRUUUILLLLLL, BREAAAAKKAAAAAAAAAAR
I remember this scene 😢. This gave me chills 😭. Gurren Lagann was one the first animes I contributed full time after High School. Heaven's Lost Property was another I continued with.
Instant thought for me was Netero
Adam’s reason for fighting will never not make me cry
F. F from JoJo’s
FF 😭
Lmfao no 😂
@@juicewar3805alright then tell me what would've happened to jotaro without ff
F.F was sad but it don't got shit on Ceaser
@@petergriffin1779 that ain't a sacrifice tho
This video and you sir deserve all the respect for this. Moments like this in gurren lagann don't get enough shout outs
Gotta be Kite from HxH 😢
Not where I expected that to go. But I respect it.
I WILL NEVER not feel chills all over watching this scene!!!
Erwin's speech had me in tears standing at attention with a full AOT salute bro. Never felt so devastated by a sacrifice.
Yo this sacrifice actually made me cry
My man! You are a man's man for respecting true art and sacrifice here
Thank you for putting this pit to your viewers his sacrifice needs to be known
Goku sacrifice against cell will always have a special place in my heart, seeing goku realize his mistake with gohan and try to atone for it is what makes goku not that bad of a father.
I like to pause before your shorts and ask myself the question you're asking yourself and compare the answers and I'm glad to say we are on the same page. My man Kittan went out with all the style and machismo to the point where Simone cried blood. 10/10, have watched several times.
Yea, that was extremely sad I had forgotten because I remember Gurren Lagen being happy but you awoken memories and made me cry.
the best part I cry when he said I will see you guys soon cause all his close homie all dead and he got the kiss the girl he be have a crush on and finally used the move he see so many time and felt the power, bro it legend
MAN That brings back so many memories! Im gonna go rewatch that shit rn
This was amazing
I’ve never heard of this song before, but I love it. These edits are great
Giving my boo of a show the love it deserves on god
This torn my heart so much he said screw the percentage and just went for it may he rest in peace along with everyone else
I havent seen that one, but there is one that came to mind for me. If you know, you know:
"It's natural that I'd protect you all. The young buds must be allowed to bloom."
100% hits me like a freight train every time I see it; I don't even particularly like the character but by god I'm bawling when he goes out
Starscream's sacrifice in transformers armada will make me cry each time.
Not only did Kittan pull off a Giga Drill Break, but that shit was SIGNIFICANTLY bigger than a normal one. I legit lost my shit when I watched his sacrifice, Kittan was sick as hell, I loved him and his mech so much
This hits so fucking close to home i love u for covering it 😂❤
Im fond of Alphonse's realization of the opposite effect of his soul's transmutation and with zero hesitation and all trust that Ed would save him.
